I have found out for myself that every bit of physical fitness has to do with your mental focus and I motivate myself by saying that I have to push myself and the more pain I feel now the more healthy I will feel later and allot of water!!!

I limit my workouts to 1 hour four to five times a week. I do not worry about not finishing all the planned exercises. I note some people spend way too much time trying to get it all in. I pick exercises that take in groups of large muscles. Chest Press, Leg Press (or squats) and some Pull downs for the back are primary exercises. Small muscle group isolation exercises are time eaters to be left to competitive body builders, in my opinion. Also I do some stationary bike, and elliptical.

I agree totally. I weigh 230 and have some belly fat. I used to weigh 240 and have a lot of belly fat. I walk/jog every sunday before noon for about 4 miles. Not that its been 20 weeks with random excersize inbetween like lifting weights or pushups, mountain climbers, situps and jumping jacks once a day, I still wight the same but I can rune 9 laps around the 1/4 mile track when I couldn;t do one and I can do 6 pull ups.

another tip is scrap the scale.. its the mirror that doenst lie!!! also, dont get down if you dont see results right away. you have to remember you look at yourself everyday in the mirror, so you wont notice change right away.. its like looking at your puppy every day,he always seems like a puppy, then someone that hasnt seen him in months says, "man hes grown!!"
