1. It’s not about memorizing words but expressing thoughts. 2. It’s about questions and answers. Questions are the best teacher. 3. Structure creates conversation.

Hi Tony. Thank you so much this tips. It’s a revelation in how we acquire or learn language per se. After watching your previous all your videos, I was able to converse more naturally in my targeted language. Thank you. ❤

Hello, tony . In one of your videos you talked about the difference between "creative mode" and" smooth mode" or "recall" and "reflex" . Can you refer me back to one of your videos where you further explain that in more detail , I didnt get it . and thanks for your informative videos.

Hi Ibrahim ... I'm not sure which video(s) it's in ... but creative mode is when you use the patterns to build new ways to say things ... survival mode is when you have to rely only on what you know right now to 'survive' the conversation. Both are important modes ... survival mode is the mode that's more often overlooked.

Thank you for this information! You have presented well (perhaps the best after Stephen Krashen) the basics and methods for effective language learning. The pyramid is an understandable metaphor. Conversation skills are the right goal. One little thing is disturbing in the video, the image quality is not the best possible, is the camera lens dirty, etc.?

@@ahakamakithank you very much. It's just a built in camera, sort of a fuzzy, dream-like effect 😅

Correct. For intermediate level language learners, or above. Infinite advice is given for advanced learners, for advances learners only. Good advice for beginners is very rare, almost not existent. None of your advices given is applicable for beginners. Well, it ist much easier to teach methods for intermediate learners, but it is extremely difficult to give advice on how to begin. And clearly it is natural to avoid that therefore. Without a basic vocabulary, none of your advices are applicable. And of course, you need to learn to form a basic sentence first with a basic grammar. And this is the real obstacle in learning languages - the beginning - with practically no real useful advice. This is a real "gap" and you as a professional teacher might be able to fill it ?

I do agree about writing/knowing words and using them if required to express yourself / exchanging with individuals. Still, depends on what are you choosing to do with the language learning process : if your goal is "only" to understand the meaning of the phrases, listening to videos, reading books, you're still learning how to form phrases. Takes more time, yet, if the goal is to get out somewhere, to immerse yourself let you no over choice than to learn.
