Hello Felipe, I am discovering your channel, and as a Cajon beginner, I love it! Thanks for the great production! One small request, for complete beginners in drums like me, it would be very useful if you could tell us in the comments a few well known songs that work well with each groove, to give us practice material. Would that be possible?

Hi Olivier, thanks for the comment! You have included in a bunch of pdfs with song suggestions. If you are in free area you will see ;)

@@CajonMaster Hi Felipe, thanks for the feedback! Yes I have accessed your free area, and it’s great to find all the transcriptions in PDF of your videos, helps A LOT! I found some songs in there which I am sure going to try soon :). However the only thing I do not find is for this video for example, 3 MUST KNOW Rock Beats For Beginners, I am now doing good with the 2nd groove, and I would love to practice it on a song. Which ones would you advise?
@CajonMaster Жыл бұрын
@@OlivierDebeurme I don't have an specific song for that but there are some albums where you can use these grooves. A good album to practice all these 3 grooves is Born in the USA by Bruce Springsten . Take the grooves as ideas of patterns to play rock style songs. The goal is to learn the style and apply in several songs. You can also find more examples in ACDC Album Back in Black. Have a listen in the albums and let me know how it goes ;)

@@CajonMaster thanks a lot for your answers, I've enjoyed a lot trying these grooves on those albums, it's slowly but surely sinking in! :) Keep going, love your channel!

Hey Felipe! You're the best! Your channel has everything! I'm learning lots, man! I'm also from Brazil and I would really love to see more videos with Brazilian grooves.. like "marchinha de carnaval", forró, fills for Bossa nova and also Samba. I wish I could support you more 💲💲💲... but I don't play enough live yet.. I'm sorry! But I really think you're amazing you deserve support! Thank you for your videos!

Hi Filipe. Love your videos and your courses. But this time you do you not have the notation in the video. Why the change? The videos are far less effective without the notation. It is the notation in your videos which puts you so far ahead of all the other Cajon videos! Is it just or this video? (I haven't seen many lately). Cheers
@CajonMaster Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback Dave. The notation is always available in the Free Area. Some students prefer without notation to focus on my hands playing. But I will put back the notation next time ;)
@sailordave5292 Жыл бұрын
@@CajonMaster Thanks for the reply Filipe Yes, seeing the hands is part of the lesson but clicking through to the notation looses the flow and focus of the lesson. Those who want or need to focus on the hands can choose that part of the video. But if the notation is not there we don't have any choice . . . Cheers
