Get a sabiki rig from a local tackle shop where you’re traveling too for live bait . Cigar minnows, mullet , alewie, crabs work well . Carolina rig , free lined live bait , or twitch a dead bait throughout the water column

Right now in Navarre and Pensacola king mackerel , tarpon , Spanish mackerel, redfish , mahi , Cobia , jack crevalle and possible sailfish are around some days it might only be redfish and Spanish some days could be Cobia ya just never know

@@DougieBFishing How come you didn't recommend the jig you used to pull the smack with as a lure you should have on the pier? The one you used looks like a bucktail but I like Tsunami glass minnow jigs because they have mylar so added flash. I would have also added the Cotton Cordell CC Spoon as another must have lure. Vertical jigging on the pier is something you don't see too many dudes doing but it catches fish. CC Spoons are flat and they have a beautiful flutter and side-to-side action on the fall. Combined with its bright flash, it mimics an injured baitfish making it nearly irresistible.
