I love the new updated Book of Mormon videos! We were reading Alma 8-9 with our grandchildren for Come Follow Me. I suggested we watch the corresponding Book of Mormon video. They explained they'd already watched it, but it turns out it was the earlier version. When I played the updated version for them, they were mesmerized. It really made the story come alive for them! Keep up the good work. Not to make too fine a point of it, but it's worth noting that as you compare 3 Nephi 10:18 to 3 Nephi 8:5, it becomes clear that the Savior's visit to the Nephites occurred "in the ending of the thirty and fourth year", whereas the three days of darkness, the tempests, earthquakes, fires, and other destruction happened "in the thirty and fourth year, in the first month, on the fourth day of the month. In other words, 11+ months later as opposed to immediately following the destruction, as is alluded to here.

I just watched the new Book of Mormon videos for the first time. Wow! It moved me to tears. Thank you to Blair Treu and the entire production team for taking this series to the next level. The importance of the message was worth the investment you put into it. The video segments were powerful and extremely moving. The attention to detail, the visual backstories and high production quality allowed me to enjoy the experience and be in the moment without being distracted.

I intensely wish that I could join in these moments in person, but being able to here online is precious! Being able to share in such a spiritual moment with so many people is incredible!! And seriously, to hear and see so many smiles on the faces of the men portraying Jesus, Nephi, Alma, Amulek, and so many others in these videos has really shifted the way I read the scriptures!!! It is such sacred and tender material, yet this is one of the first times I've seen someone portray a call to repentance as a call to enjoy a precious gift.....that is really what it is all about. Love, hope, joy, peace all bound together. Beautifully done!!!

I feel so Blessed to know my Savior, thru this gospel. I know its the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was brought to tears thru out this series so many many times. God and Jesus I believe was with everyone during this series, and the Holy Ghost did guide also. I am so so Thankful Jesus forgives our sins. I know these records were saved for our generation. come to our church, enjoy the spirit of Jesus your self. come often.. Beautiful in so many different ways In the laws the Levites didn't have steps ,not allowed to see the undergarments, Only ramps would have been used in my mind and thoughts Steps would be breaking the laws of What is written in the Torah, but its not only me who understand this Other than the steps Beautiful and so much love good village and out fits. Just wish the set was in a precolumbian North American setting where Joseph Smith said it took place, where the plates were found. All the prophecies of the “promised land” are of the USA and not mesoamerica. The painting of Christ appearing to the Nephites in our church buildings shows mesoamerican buildings from 600AD. Christ may have appeared to those people too (he told the Nephites he had other sheep to visit). This old tradition needs to be corrected in our church.
