I like the CAT but where are the dealerships and where do you get maintenance? The Freight liner M2 has been around a long time nothing new here..and you've got the price way wrong...and yes you need a CDL to drive it. The KIA, (Killed in Action) smaller gas engines, putting a turbo on a gas engine does boost HP but generally hurts longevity. And the short bed makes it a no-go for real truck jobs.

I really like the specs, features, price of the KIA. But I'm still very hesitant to get one. I know that their overall quality and reliability has gone up over the years, but we had a very unpleasant issue with my girlfriend's 2016 Sorento. She bought it new, was keeping up with regular recommended service, but the engine seized up after only just over 3000 miles and just over a year old. This was a common issue, and Kia/Hyundai were extremely backlogged on replacement engines. We were given a 2-3 year estimate for repairs. Even being part of the class action lawsuit wasn't helping. She ended up suing her way out out of her obligations to continue paying for the vehicle, and Kia had to pay all of her court costs, legal fees, and refund her what she had invested in the vehicle. Supposedly all of those issues are resolved with Kia vehicles, but they lost our trust for now. I really want that CAT! Planning on trading my RAM in for one when they become available!
