Hello Steve, its been a while. As you may recall, I absolutely adore a very, very dry Martini and actually prefer Vodka to Gin in my Martini. The first 14 or so mins of this was bang on, although for me, a great Martini is all about attention to detail and quality ingredients rather than being pretentious. However, once you mentioned Cola and Vanilla I lost all interest, and whatever you were making ceased to be a dry Martini.
