Guy, the filming quality is really good on this video. Seems your getting better and better at it. I was in shock at the price they are asking. 1200, 1300 for a watch I would have guessed about 300 to 500 dollars. I think Seiko has lost its mind when it comes to price with the 6R movements.

Thanks Scott, appreciate the praise. Re: the price, that seems to be what sort of price point Seiko is shooting for with a lot of their divers. The SPB143 and similar watches, which isn't a special edition or anything is $1200 and the SNRxxx watches in the Seiko LX range go over $5k.

Hey Guy, New Subscriber here and wanted to say that I enjoyed your reviews of these watches, good presentation and clear narration, such things are appreciated man! I agree on the SPB253 that the 40mm sizing is a sweet spot and the classic styling rocks. I do however like the strange asymmetrical styling of the SPB257. This is the first time I have personally seen that seiko style of case and it was interesting to hear the information you presented on it. Much appreciated Sir. These ones are cool the Mm200 reduced has horrible lume for a Seiko

I honestly couldn't find out the answer to that question, I looked all over Seiko's product info and all they say is the watch case is "stainless steel - hard coating" or something to that effect.
