We spend a few nights back on Long Lake trying to get Logan his pike. Fishing was a struggle but we managed to catch several nice fish. On the paddle out we stop at a campsite halfway down the lake and watch the Adirondack Canoe Classic 90 miler paddle by us.

Fishing was a struggle but that makes it even better when the rod does bend over. The race was pretty cool too. Thanks for watching Bill.

Nice trip! I’ve been to that site and it’s beautiful but you realize why it’s called Long Lake if you paddle up there fighting wind and waves the whole way.

It’s definitely a long paddle but really nice too if you take your time, stop at some sites and fish the whole way. Thanks for watching.

Don’t be drowned next to this guys best line of the year. Funny but I believe they weren’t going to stop as well.

One of those Paddle Boarders finished in just under 19hours. That day was 6.5 hours. Fastest time was 11:52 = average 7.5 mph over 3 days😲

Wow…I can’t imagine racing a paddle board all the way down the river. Bet it was nice to portage though. Thanks for watching.

Do you guys grab the same site all the time?

No but if we have a favorite and visiting many we will go back to it if it’s available. We choose to go back to that site because of how hot it was. It has really nice shade cover and good water access.

What fish finder do you rig up in your boat?

I run the Garmin Striker 4 plus CV. I have a 16 ah lithium miadi battery in a waterproof camera box from harbor freight. It’s very mobile and versatile and easily used for ice fishing as well. The transducer mount is Scotty as well as the clamp on base. Love the whole set up. Thanks for watching.
