Thanks James. I use an old toothbrush to clean the headstock and the bridge area under the strings with the strings on. Cleaning the tuning posts with a toothbrush is also convenient. Is that OK ?

If you have boiled linseed oil, it is perfect for fretboard

If I may add my quick way without removing the strings. Oil your fret board, allow to soak for a few mins, then take a miro fiber cloth in a single layer through the sound port, and start working it back and forth up the fret board. This removes excess oil and scrubs and cleans the frets.

A very light spray of WD40 on a cloth works wonders - but don’t overdo it and always spray the cloth, not the guitar, or it will clog up.
