I just found this channel, but my wife and I went overlanding for the first time this week and went through car wash falls. It was during a drought when we went, so no falls. We didn’t pick the same spot to camp as you guys, but we liked it. Quite bumpy and slow moving in my old diesel F250, but that’s what I have to work with. Hahaha.
@bigrockoverland13 күн бұрын
That is awesome! Doesn’t matter what you got as long as you get out and have fun and be safe. Yeah we just got a ton of rain actually last night and the whole area that was once bone dry is now too deep to even drive through in some spots pretty crazy over 10 inches of rain.

Carwash falls are pretty cool. As are your awesome rides. I'm only rocking a stock Tacoma TRD Offroad 4x4. Much less rugged. But I did some gnarly roads on the Buffalo River today. Was a little nervous at times.

What you haven't told anyone is that Arkansas is almost the best for off-roading. I'm in the middle and 4 hours in any direction I can find whatever I want to play on. If yall are in Pine Bluff, Irish Maid is awesome. And Indigo Blue.

Great video! negatory on the insurance on a SXS or registration. ATV/SXS or OHV's in general cannot be registered in the state for on road use like many other states. However, we are limited to not riding in city limits unless the municipality allows it and there are very few that do. We are allowed on state hwy's with a speed limit of 55 or less and are allowed from trail head to trail head in the shortest distance possible or as the law reads "within reason". So on that front it's basically up to law enforcement to determine what is "within reason". But as long as you have a nav system and you've recorded your route (i use Gaia) and have the route premade and you can show where you exited what trail or road onto pavement and where the next trail head is you should be good. of course, i'm not a road rider, i'm a trail rider and the longest stretch of pavement i've been on while overlanding in my SXS is that exact stretch of 2.3 miles from 5550 to the Oark Cafe which was part of a 469 mile round trip from Brock Creek past Oark to Mill Creek and back without getting on the same trail twice. We went to all the places you went to in your video. As a matter of fact if you watch your video and pause it at exactly 6:05 and find the sticker that says "Rally" between the 2 green bars, Just underneath is a pair of "Green Fottprints" that was the sticker i put there. Do a google search on "Jolly Green Feet" and i'll leave it at that. keep on adventuring!!! there is soooooo much history in this state hidden in those hills!!

Well, at least you had plenty of Jeeps along to help when one of them inevitably breaks down. Being a certified mechanic isn't required to own a Jeep, but it should be. I looked for a jeep junk emoji and was surprised I couldn't find one.
