Catholic Bertha, prayed for the conversion of her pagan husband. Pope Gregory the Great, sent St. Augustine to convert the pagan Anglo-Saxons to Christianity. United Kingdom had 1000 Years of Catholicism, all the beautiful old cathedrals, old stone churches and York Minster were built by monks. The Anglican Church keeps still the beauty f many ceremonies. Some still believe that eating the bread is eating eternal life because there is a real presence, as Jesus being God said in John 6:50-69
