If you drill the auger into the ground it's super easy to take off and re-attach

Don't have any experience with a tractor of that vintage. If it has a 3 point and pto setup like most tractor I would just get the auger from tractor supply.

doesn't really say that anywhere. I have had it full of gravel with no worries. probably around 1000 pounds

I bought the bobcat one. It had a more solid gearbox from others I have seen. Bought extra augers from tractor supply. I also like the land pride one.
