The story follows Kena, a young spirit guide, travels to an abandoned village in search of the sacred mountain shrine, the game fictional world is inspired by Eastern location such as Japan and Bali The only thing that is Japanese is a glowing Naginata wield by Warrior, an Ice Katana wield by Shaman Mask Maker and spirituality beliefs of Japan While for Indonesian is Gamelan music, the spirituality beliefs like in Japan and how Kena speaks while collecting Rots, Kena also voice acted by Dewa Ayu Larassanti which born in Bali too

From this video on katanas (and many others) from you, I have the impression that it does not matter anymore if your family is from a peasant class or a craftsman class or a merchant class. It seems to me as if anyone in Japan can both own and train with any kind of katana, no matter the class they come from. Is this true?
@davidfromamerica1871

Many younger Japanese train with these swords and the famous Japanese Long Bow. They have competitions with these. Growing up in America and visiting Japan on KZbin over the many years, I have learned a great many things about Japan and it’s History. I don’t understand the language, many of the KZbin channels and videos are in English. One thing I noticed about the Japanese people is they are very emotional in everything they do. From the building of their homes, Cities. Transportation systems, The arts, singing, their instruments they play, foods they prepare, all is based on emotional pride in what they do.
@michaelbarr9139
@michaelbarr9139 2 жыл бұрын
They haven't had that class system for sometime now. If they did then Japan would probably allow only samurai or people descended from the samurai to own them. People still follow some of the traditions but if you can afford a sword and have the proper paperwork and license you can own a katana in Japan. If you are a foreigner visiting Japan and have the money they will sell you sword AND ship it to your home country provided they legal in your homeland.

Shogo, a point that Warakiri Battosai did not address for choosing a cutting blade is the construction of the one he is using @ 14:55, it almost looks like a machette and appears to be a special? What is the blade width and thickness and does it have nikui ?

Question Sword opened and closed quickly. What does this mean? (Seen in various Edo period movies and TV shows) Seems to be attitude or resolve. A swear (Swear on our swords) Example (Genroku Ryoran 1999 Episode 23 10 mins in.) 38th NHK Taiga Drama

Sword training is more of a discipline and a mindset for tradition. Swords and 7 inch combat knives are a tool much like a hammer, ax, power drill, and a screw driver. Swords and battle knives are an option and the training should always be kept in perspective because nowadays your more likely to be shot with a pistol or rifle.
