Absolutely true this is an albergue like no other. I was there in june 2017 and Fernanda keeps up the same super quality and atmosphere. I had exactly the same afternoon with home made wine, Fernanda fried fish burgers for us, prepared a delicious home made meal and we sang and danced into the evening. Incredible, day after day, she is providing this top experience. Do not miss it. By the way, i do not remember having to walk much on the shoulder of dangerous roads? Selective memory or has the camino there changed in 6 years...?

Wow! Casa Fernanda really lives up to its reputation! That looks like such a good time, and it was great to see you dancing Salsa again on the Camino. All that road-walking looks daunting, though. At least at the end of the day there was good food, good friends, and good memories made. 🥰

Shame the Camino is on so many roads. That takes away some of the magic, and it is dangerous too. Looks like you are back to Altra Lone Peak? I use them all the time but I remember you used Altra Olympus as well. I haven't used them yet but I am thinking about trying. Any preferences?

Those sections on the road were my least favorite of the trip. I'm still using the Olympus 5.

Watching your videos to help prep for my own Camino Portugues......trying to decide between the coastal or central......it looks like there is a lot of road walking on the central.......what is your recommendation between the two?

Most people do a combination of both. Walk through coastal in Portugal and yhr central in Galicia
