My birthday is November 2nd. As a child my Irish Catholic grandmother always told me about the holy souls. Now I have a devotion to them and am teaching my 5 year old grandson about them. I pray that he will remember them and me as well when I am there.

That last story of the sinful woman was the most beautiful one! Despite being so displeasing to God, she did an act of PERFECT repentance and contrition, literally at the last moment, and then went straight to heaven! This is why we should embrace humility, don't think of ourselves too highly above others in the spiritual life, and never give up. This is my daily life I have told many many priests over my life. They tell me to stop doing the occult practices (I dont) I get told that I am going to hell for summoning demons . I don't God speaks to me, the holy mother speaks to me. God uses me to do his will . I am a widow and I am celibate and prayerful.
