I’ve just seen a couple of trailers on Australia morning news. He’s saying the palace leaked negative stories about him and M. I never took much interest at that stage but I don’t remember anything negative in the tabloids, just snippets coming up on utube feed, which I thought were the same type of snipes that Catherine used to get. Accusing the RF of planting stories cannot be proved and I really don’t see why they would. Any bad stories about H and M would have reflected badly on the whole brand, which they always avoid, but the palace will not stifle a free press, Lady C has already described the way the RF work with the media. There have been other stories about other royals not stifled, they don’t seem to do that.

My take is that the Spare is a prime example of someone who has been 'too well protected' throughout his life and, in recent years and operating without that protection, has revealed himself as essentially immature and entitled. Aw your poor doggy and you - I’m a 67 year old retired midwife who has an amazing job looking after doggies in a home from home environment and I of course walk them every day, the number of uncontrollable off lead doggies is shocking so I feel for you Paula as I completely understand - in my mind all doggies in public places should be on a lead!! It's the law in my state that all dogs must be either constrained (behind fences) or restrained (by leashes.) I think it's the same in most states. (in USA) I live far out in the countryside on a few hundred acres, tho, so our little terrier-mix runs loose most of the year. He's mostly inside during the winter as he hates the cold. This winter he's decided that he's entitled to get on the couch bc my husband always lets him lay on his lap while in his big recliner...🙄😅

I carry a stun gun and when the dogs come running towards my dogs I just press it and it makes a electric sound and they run away. I got attacked with my dog and ever since I carry one of those.

@@carlsenlifeafter60carlsen11 That's good in Australia 🇦🇺 it's against the law to own those and pepper spray or similar, ALL dogs unless highly trained otherwise ALL dogs have to be on a lead, they can be let off in a dog park that's fenced off but our German Shepherd female was attacked at 8months old at our dog park by a black Labrador, my hubby was closest to her so he got the larger dog off while I picked up ours, the owners of the dog said " oh sorry he gets a bit funny sometimes", I replied and YET you think it's wise to bring him here?? One day it will go too far and you and your dog will end up in BIG trouble" it traumatised our sweet happy girl SO much we have never gone back we have her blood born cousin a Male Shepherd who is only a couple of months older than her so they are great mates 💖 My girl is much loved at our vets as is our Boy they are both gentle and no fuss, let's the vet do anthing without a murmur, the male LOVES the attention, our female is a bit shy and hides behind me if someone wants a pat, but she hasn't a nasty bone in her whole Body, our male is a gentle giant. Dogs R so precious to us always loyal and loving as are we to them Paula SO sorry that happened to you and your dog, the adrenalin would Have been through the roof it's very 😨 scary hopefully tomorrow you won't be sorer than today, rest and recuperate and if you have any they say Brandy is good for shock (for you not the dog ) the doggies just needs love and cuddles. 😘🥰 TAKE CARE, one good idea is to carry a loud body alarm, they are small but VERY loud just press the Button if you feel a threat the dogs will take off running, threat averted. 💯👍🐨🇦🇺🦘

So relieved that you and the Dog are well! As a lifelong owner of dogs, I will never understand irresponsible owners, especially those who let their dogs run loose and off leash. They endanger the community (both two-legged and four-legged) and they endanger their own animals who could themselves be seriously hurt or seized by the authorities, branded as vicious, and even put down. Just clueless and irresponsible. We owe our animals and each other better. I hope you and dear, sweet old Dog never have such an encounter again. Hopefully, the owner of the loose dog will have learned something. The Dog is totally justified in shouting out his outrage at anyone who has dared to bully him! Good boy, Dog!!!🐕You tell them!

I am sorry to hear your dog was attacked. I had a dog attacked while she was on the lead years ago. She died and the attacking dog had a history and was put down so I hope you have reported this to the ranger or council or whatever you have where you live. They really do take notice of the histories. I found it very distressing to be involved in the attack. So many people said to me afterwards that that dog tried to attck their dogs and if they had reported these attacks my dog would not have been attacked. Sorry, this happened in 2017 and I still get upset about it and tend to go on about attacks being reported when I hear of them. My dog wasn't small she was an 11 year old Malamute. Just listened to this reading again on 23rd January 2023. It is so nice to hear the birdsong, as it is the dead of winter here. I was so worried about my wildlife friends during the extreme cold snap and blizzard (I do not live far from Buffalo, NY, and although we didn't get as much snow, we have the same weather). Today I saw the squirrels out playing, I thought, how did they not freeze? But the big thing was on Christmas Eve. I was hoisting my family for Christmas Day for brunch, but also had to prepare several dishes for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner at my mother-in-law's. I was not happy, as I had not agreed to Christmas Eve with so much to do. I was so grumpy and a Cardinal (bird, not priest!) appeared on the evergreen pine tree outside my kitchen window. It was freezing, the kind of cold where we leave the cabinet doors under the sinks open so the pipes don't freeze, even though we have really good insulation. I kept telling it to go to its nest to be warm. But the Cardinal was there every time I went to the kitchen sink. I lost my mother in March and I know it was her calming me down, taking a moment to think about the bird. We have to carry on.
