Zara and Mike are a great support! Mike is like a big brother. Peter Philips was also a mentor after Diana's death. The boys often spent time at Princess Anne's home. I think Lady Sarah Chatto would be a great support and also perhaps Lady Gabriella (Ella) who has charities and was at a recent event with Queen Camilla. She and Prince William are close as she grew up in an apartment at Kensington Palace. She has been in the royal box with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Royal Ascot and is often at family events.

He has had to take more responsibilities just like that and in addition he has the family problems. He can have fun with Mike and Zara, but it doesn't mean that they were able to support him in this situation. One can just hope that he has good, right people around of him. He has a really hard time. It would be nice to see people to show more empathy to him.

Yes! Prince William shuts up and does the work. He's taking on two jobs with his father in treatment, and he's quite ambitious. The public housing enterprise and the Earthshot project are big things. This, in addition to Princess Catherine's long convalescence, would overwhelm anyone. It's too much.

Prince William has the total support of the Middleton family. They have been in his life for at least 20 years now, he trusts them, so he doesn't need a bast***, vile, evil, arrogant, manipulative, immature baby who throws tantrums when he's told, NO and can't have his way. Just see from prince william point a view: 1.His dad is ill and altought william will be king one day, maybe he didn't expected to be so soon 2. Princess Catherina is his strengh, but her body had to say that she had to stop, and I beleive it's very dificult for her to feel weak. 3. Prince William have an army of people helping him, but his life had shaken things so hard that he became almost alone with 3 children to take care, and try to keep everything normal. 4. As a child I was obsessed with Camelot and the Arthurian legend. I was raised in the US in the 1960s when all things British were THE thing, art, fashion, music. In my 40’s I sold all I had and immigrated to the UK to live my dream with a wonderful Englishman. To think we may be living the return of Arthur in my lifetime is astonishing to me…but since my life has been a modern day fairytale I wouldn’t be surprised at all. I remember saying I felt he would be the 'King Arthur' for our time. I so hope you will read on this frequently. I think PW will walk unless KC strips H from the monarchy. Titles, LoS etc. There is a lot he can do without parliament. After that he must tell parliament to get on with it. PW and his family must be protected from the hate filled Harkles. Of course that will be the end of the monarchy. If William walks, the next in line is George, William walking doesn't change that and he can't remove George and the rest of his children from LoS just because he says so. If George is still a minor and William abdicates at the death of his father, IMO the UK would become a republic because who would be Regent for George? Wasn’t Arthur young and relied on Merlin’s guidance? His reign brought prosperity, yet in the end he was overcome after his Knights died in battle and threw Excalaber in the lake. No wonder Prince William is trepid to step back into this role. I hope he can feel how many around the world love him.

This is clearly William's time for being forged in the furnace, and he will either turn into steel or crack in the process. I hope it will be the making of him, because I am not at all sure if, constitutionally, he even CAN walk away. He can of course renounce his right to the throne, that is his right as an adult. But he does not have the ability to renounce his children's rights to the throne - only they can do that when they reach their majority age. Certainly this is the case with other hereditary titles. So if William goes, then constitutionally speaking, the burden of being heir to the throne presumably passes straight to William's own heir, George, who will become his grandfather Charles's Heir Apparent and will instantly inherit his father's titles of Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall etc, which William will have renounced. So William won't really have solved anything, because obviously as a father he can't walk away from his young son, and the attacks that have been made on him will, presumably, simply transfer to George, at least to some extent, who is even more vulnerable than William is. It's an unprecedented situation so there is nothing to draw on from the past, but I don't think running away is a viable solution for William and he, presumably, knows this far better than I do. Hence his agony of mind at the moment, as he is truly stuck between a rock and a hard place.

You are correct I believe. But the reality is, what burden does William actually have? He has no responsibility for the running of the country and his job is a public facing primarily diplomatic one with lots of benefits including a massive salary and job security. His family is healthy and well provided for, his convalescing wife has the best medical care money can buy, so where is the burden? I doubt he spends his days mired in toxic social media and the initiatives he has started are self created. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Intuition says as long as Catherine is protected and by his side, he'll prevail. The Gods are testing his mettle. It can't be easy to eradicate a blood brother, but he's damaged beyond redemption and has a vindictive, vicious wife to boot and both need to be neutralized for the reign of William to prosper. I do believe that there is such a thing call “Divine Timing”. This card may show the energy as of now and he’s probably struggling in the Dark Night of the Soul at the moment but once it’s time, he will be birthed into who he is meant to be. Of course William is overwhelmed by the fact of his becoming the head of State of a great nation. There is a story, perhaps apocryphal, of Queen Victoria crying when, as a young woman, she was told that she would one day become Queen of England. David Frost had an interview with Charles many, many years aho. Charles spoke of what he would like to do with his life. The reality is, he has no responsibility for how the country is run. Any responsibility he feels is through self imposed initiatives like Earthshot and ending homelessness. I do know what you mean about the apparent hopelessness and triviality of the Harkle watching. But on the other hand, it IS important because it is a real life, real time situation in which we are all, to a greater or lesser extent, involved. And as you say in your disclaimers, it is a truly archetypal situation, so it does resonate on a level or great depth for many of us. There is so much going on in the world that is frankly too awful to look at and beyond the scope of any of us to influence, but this situation is on a more domestic level (sort of), which we can all relate to and hope to see satisfactorily resolved, in time. Don't like H being freedom and need to harmonise. The brother of K Arthur ( half brother!) caused all sorts of trouble due to his jealousy. Ring any bells? In the end they fought , Mordred was killed and K Arthur mortally wounded was sailed to the Isle of Avalon with the promise to return when needed. Seems to me the lesson here is to get rid of the traitorous brother. Don't be fooled by all his deceptions , cut him out of his life in order to flourish. IMO. I think everyone has to remember that the Monarch is not a political leader and so any leadership that William portrays is more moral and ethical. The Monarch has no real power and so again there is no decision making to be made on how things are done within the country. The Monarch is largely a diplomatic role, Parliament has the power. The biggest stress for William is probably rumour and gossip. Staying off social media removes a great deal of that. Other than that, its a public facing job and i could argue that much of the pressure is self inflicted. He has taken it upon himself to end homelessness and save the planet, no one forced him into those initiatives. I doubt he would walk away from something self driven. He would lose much of the financial power and status that helps to get those things done.
