This message comes at such a good time. I've been working on generosity these past weeks. I actually just started putting aside some giving money like two months ago. My goal for every month, is to spend less on myself and more on others. It's crazy how we don't think we're rich in the US. But, we have all this money for takeout, self-care, expensive phones, etc. We're so blessed. May we grow in blessing others with what we have been given!

I am good at being there for friends in crisis. I love my circle. Every year I make items for friends and co-workers. I give time to teens every day and try to show Gods love. I may not be generous always with money, I always strive too, I do give time.

Hi SC, Hope this will help explain. Matthew 6:19 explains that our treasure on earth will wear out, rust or break like cell phones or vehicles. Not that we don't need those things to live but to not dwell on them like they are the only things worth living for. Verse 20 goes on the say store up treasure in heaven where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Such as how we treat people, our generosity, showing Jesus' love to others. Treasure living like Jesus. We all need things in this world to live. And those things can be important. All he was trying to say was to not be so concerned with the things of this world. I hope that helps. Laura

Dear God, I lift up S C up to you. You know exactly what their situation is. I ask that you would be their provider. I ask for their needs to be met. God, I ask for wisdom and discernment for their financial situation. Please grant them the tools needed to face these challenges. In your name, Amen. That is why it is important to go to God first so he can provide. I am so sorry that there are people out there that don't have the means because of their giving. I am not trying to offend anyone either however, it makes me wonder if they were doing it because God told them to, or they did it do get the glory for themselves. I am going to FSCJ. They did things wrong. I was supposed to start 2021 so by 2023 would graduate by now. Vocational Rehab is helping me. They were quite upset. Now I only have. SSDI. It is not enough to to live on. I don't get the money from the Lawsuite until 2041.
