Introducing ADAS for a sub compact SUV in itself is enough to shoot up the prices, more tech means more price tag. I would say, if you don't need that kind of tech, Kia sonet HTX is a better buy, the only thing missing is a 360 degree camera view

And another option for tor Torque fans is the Seltos iMT HTE on road at 14.5 on road in the most expensive Tax city. Leather seat covers, Reverse csmera and Sony Deck wjll cost about 45K and Alloys about 45K making it a Full Meal at 15.8ish. and left feet gets some rest.

They have downgraded HTX variant significantly by removing alloy wheels. Sure, there is a new driver's cluster and rear disks, but even then the price increase was 40k. Therefore, I got the older version of December make, in 1st week of February. Got 55k in discount. 13.08 on road, DCT.

@@motorinc Yes, it's DCT. This includes their insurance but excludes extended warranty which I paid for later. It was originally priced at 13.62 on road in my state and I got 55k discount after a tough round of negotiations. I had to do an extensive PDI to be assured that I'm not getting anything defective. Everything looks good so far. And oh btw, I drove both versions of turbo DCT back to back-there was no difference in gear shifts/turbo lag. So here's what I'm guessing-the reason Kartikeya found the turbo to be smoother on the newer one was probably fixed in a previous iteration. One of those fixes that they don't announce, just in the background. That's why the Kia engineers couldn't tell what change they made under the hood because they probably didn't, atleast not on this facelift.

Response on reason 1...if you offer manual on turbo then people will fry the turbo and the clutch which will effect the warranty and increase the cost for Kia. Response 2 - Yes you are right, it's good for 4 people but people moving from small car and buying the first SUV will not mind this, with 5 people the space is OK if your height is less than 5.10 inches. Response 3 - It's about choice, the more features the merrier, with HTE optional and HTK optional the sunroof option is there and below 10.5 lakhs on road Noida. Please don't compare a electric with gasoline engine... Do some research and some misguiding people.

Once again, consider these things which are not available in FRONX delta plus. Rear Camera Rear AC Rear Charging Port Centre Arm Rest Centre Cup Holder Sun Glass Holder Front parking sensors ORVM 6 airbags Sunroof If you're trying to install the above mentioned elements, then how much expenditure you have to pay out??? Definitely not less than 45000 rs. In fact, all the above are already in SONET Htk Plus 1.2. Hence, 9.3 lakhs is more value for money rather than 8.7. Also, you will get more SUPERIOR QUALITY in Sonet.

@@motorinc moreover, you will get MORE ROOM in REAR PARCEL TRAY, More DICKY SPACE, and, more REAR HEAD room atleast by 3 inch more, and more front WINDSHIELD SIZE. That means the Centre Rear Mirror is not blocking your views when you take SHARP curves especially on LEFT. There is enormous blocking in the FRONX due to this centre rear view.

@@motorinc forget about mileage and alloys in FRONX and Sonet, mileage can't be comprised with the price. We have to look into the weight of the vehicle which is the main factor for mileage output. Hence, ultimately, Sonet Htk Plus is more value for money with its overall SUPERIOR build quality in all aspects 🔥🔥🔥

@@motorinc if my location was at easily accessible and availability of SONET, I would have definitely purchased it at ONE GO. I have to travel atleast 9 hrs to the nearest Sonet dealers or service centre to either purchase Sonet or Parts or for servicing. This is the condition in my location. Unfortunately, due to lack of such service centre, I recently bought FRONX delta plus 1.2 mt.

@@motorinc in fact, my old i20 2011 which I have driven over 65000ckm suspension system was WAY better than FRONX. So also, the same would apply for Sonet. In FRONX, it bounces even for very low damaged patches on road. Hence, the chances of ROLLING BODY CAR is significantly HIGH. Whereas, in i20, it doesn't. It balances very well at all directions.
