My mucous plug fell off and I went to hospital. I was already dilated and delivered within the next 18 hours. And this was at 36 weeks. So I guess the example of mucous plug doesn't apply to everyone.

Braxton hicks were so confusing to me. The last month of my pregnancy I kept having contraction like pains that I felt in my back that would come and go, especially when I slept in a certain position at night.

Thanks for the great three minute video. You neglected to speak about back labor I was in back labor for three days and never moved to my stomach. I barely made it to the hospital. My son came out within 20 minutes.
