Interesting video. I am still in the process of deciding, whether to use eco-disposable diapers or cloth ones... Did you start right after giving birth with cloth diapers? How many did you buy? I am 33 weeks pregnant now, so I still have some time, but it's somehow a hard decision, because my sister and mum are also like : oh don't do that to yourself, it's so much extra work.... And if you first invest in cloth diapers and then notice that you won't use them in the long run it's really bad... " Kind regards from Germany

I began around a month and a half. I didn’t want to start right away while I was still just getting used to having a baby ☺️ I now have 18 cloth diapers that I use during the day and 6 that I use specifically for nighttime BUT I started out with only 3-4 just to try it out before I went all in and I think that was a good decision for the exact reason your sister and mom are saying. But people told me the same thing, that it will be such a hassle and why would I do that to myself, but I’ve found it to be really easy overall 😁 You could also look into getting a few gently used cloth diapers to try out and that way, if it’s a no for you, you won’t have spent as much money. Long answer but I hope that’s helpful!!

Whoops sorry I miscounted. I have 23 daytime cloth diapers, but the extra 3 are a different kind of cloth diaper and I don’t use them super often.

formula fed poop is actually water soluble unless you have lumps that can be popped in the toilet it’s also water soluble,disposable diapers smell a hell of a lot worse than cloth because of the chemicals in them

Cloth bumed 7 children here hi from the U.K I did both cloth and disposable from birth what one you chose is completely up to you and has to be personal to you your family your routine I even did after number 6 who was an emergency c section I found cloth easier but again that’s personal to each individual eco arnt actually that different to non eco disposables as they need a certain environment to break down unfortunately land fill doesn’t offer that environment babies need a different amount of nappies/diapers depending on their age newborns till around 3 months need anywhere from 8 to 15 per day tiny ones would recommend 35 ish for a wash every 2 days then as they grow will eventually only need around 5 to 7 per day my 19 month old goes through 4 to 5 per day then a night time nappy on top he averages around 6 including his night time so we only need 3 night time ones and 15 day times ( we have a lot more though as one of the cons is they can be addictive) as for other people it’s not up to them your baby your choice, it’s an extra 2 to 3 washing machine loads every week and it’s really enjoyable alternatively you could do both and see wich one you prefer

@@kellywatts4895 love this perspective so much and I agree! You have to do what works for you, but I’ve definitely found cloth diapering to be easier than I could’ve imagined AND it just keeps getting easier as my son gets older too 🤗
