@@Clotheslinemedia 1) secure the several airforce bases - (evacuation ports) 2) establish military "route" from local regions for US citizens to travel to air bases - 3) fly out all US citizens. repeat the process for those Afghan's who worked for the US, and have corresponding ID - (my comment only addresses evacuation - there are many more strategies / plans, that would need to be implemented - but those plans do not include a "General" of the US Army talking about "White Rage" and "Transgender forces" -

I don't think any reasonable person can disagree with you on any of your three points or ideas for a better plan. But why do you think we failed so miserably at it despite signing this agreement over a year ago. Remember we had planned to leave by last September too. We abandoned most of the bases since last summer tying our hands and erasing the options you laid out. This year we closed Bagram and that was the only major outpost closed in 2021. The Taliban took most provinces by middle January and only advanced on three during this calendar year. PS: I don't think the General in question was too focused on social topics to get the job done right. I don't think he even had a role in this. I don't believe he has been in country for a few years. Besides it'll be like saying Michael Flynn was a bad commander because he sometimes shared his beliefs with the media. Yes not my style of general but Mike Flynn like General Mili both have good military service records and I don't think their jobs in uniform were compromised by their prescriptions for America. Anyway let me know what you think about these things. I really enjoy your comments and manner of writing.
