3 Rice Ball Mountain Brothers & Doyama (おむすび山３兄弟と堂山) Hiking in Japan

Join me on a traverse across 4 little mountains: Doyama Mountain (堂山), and 3 others, known affectionally as 3 Rice Ball Mountain Brothers (おむすび山３兄弟) because they resemble the shape of rice balls! Doyama Mountain is a popular spot for bird lovers. Muttsume Mountain has an exciting steep section and Garan Mountain has a temple and a thrilling rocky area near the top. Hazako Mountain is the smallest of the "rice ball brothers" but has some lovely views. You'll also see some shrines on the way back down.
