Rose in perfume seems to get a bad rap ("it's for my grandma!")...plus can a man wear a Rose perfume??
Personally YES! I'm a huge fan of rose in my perfume and secondly these modern day rose perfumes will make you say "mmm, baby what's your name?"....well at least that's the mission

Dom Rosa is a fragrance I've been interested in for a while, but ever since the Millessime flanker came out, have been even more interested.

I haven't smelt the Millessime version but have read that the fragrance has retained the core DNA but amped up the volume of the fragrance....my guess is that it's going to be awesome. I'd be curious to know your thoughts once you get the chance to put your nose to this one; as I always love your 'straight to the point' breakdowns. Good to hear from you @DivineFrag

I ended up taking Dom Rosa home and wore it 4 of the 7 days in a week - such an amazing fragrance! Rose done well is pretty divine! So much fun filming this with you dad! Love the banter and carrying on. Had a proper lol moment on the train with the “Hello” sequence. Pretty sure some people gave me some looks😂 Look forward to the next one!

Love this video, you guys are hilarious! I’ve smelled Dom Rosa and really love it, the rose + champange notes are addictive, hoping to add it to my collection soon. I really enjoy all the videos you do with your kids with all of the teasing/banter, it reminds me of my dad who did not like perfume but did like to tease me, he passed away last year so watching these videos can be quite comforting. Sorry to hear about dad; it's hard losing a love one, but I'm happy for you that you have nice memories surrounding your dad (I personally love seeing this in others. Not sure if you're into movies? Never been this early. Finding myself deep into the rose rabbit hole and I currently own Diptyque's Eau Capitale, Le Labo's Rose 31, and Frederic Malle's Portrait of a Lady. All these three went straight to my to-buy-list. Thanks for the great video!

Excellent! I am a big fan of the roses. The Fuegia and Liquide Imaginaires both sound worth trying (I think Libertine carry them. I'll check if they have them at the counter). Enjoyed the vid, and good to see that your son has such a discerning nose! Personal fave, and the rosiest of roses, is 'Rose Millesime' from Jovoy, perfumed by the inimitable Vanina Muracciole. It is just stunning, and I wear it fairly often despite the slightly nuclear nature of it (apply with care!). I'm all for breaking down the silly (and very recent) idea that rose scents are exclusively for women.

Yep, white florals in perfume are magic...I would actually recommend to you Dom Rosa, if you want to explore 'rose' in a fragrance. It's present in the perfume but it has a light fruitiness that doesn't go too deep into the 'rose' note....works like magic🧡 Great to hear from you @fr3ddy653, awesome to hear from you👊🏽

Scents have no gender. Wear whatever you feel good in. Rose scent is really appealing on men. It smells fresh especially on a bright sunny day. It also makes you approachable and friendly.

I would have to agree with you on this point @c004857 I know that some perfumes have been constructed to accentuate a point (be it floral or woods) but it's now up to the 'wearer' of the fragrance to see if it resonates with them. I always speak of a very petite female friend who loves wearing very strong leather, wood combination perfumes (something that could be deemed by marketing to be a 'masculine' perfume, and yet she rocks these fragrances!) Not niche, but Maison Martin Margiela just released a new fragrance in their Replica line, created by Carlos Beniem, called On a Date. I sampled it and it's a "wine and roses" scent. I'm tossing around the idea of actually adding it to my collection of that line despite the fact it's considered more feminine. It smells great. I thought for replicating being on a date, however, it could have used a strong chocolate note as well. In terms of niche I've tried relatively recently, Rose de Jamal by Les Indemodables stood out for me as a nice realistic, masculine, rose.

If you love that rose/wine combo, then I would recommend that you test side by side to this one with La Tierra del Rayo (this too is a rose/wine combo, with the difference that it plays more on the oak barrel, hence the more masculine angle to this fragrance) Rose is for a man; personally don't sweat this.
