in the first game, nobody seems to get why the puppy barks the 2nd time "it likes to bark at people" that means somebody *else* passed the puppy, the person following you. to add onto this, mark sadly missed one little thing that the game had in the moments where the camera seemed to be looking through the stalker/other person, if you'd look at the direction of their view, they would hide and the camera would return to normal

The last was extremely unsettling but despite my best efforts I can’t piece together the story for it? Did the mother have a phycotic break and kill her daughter out of stress? Was the walk through the woods sequence her going to see the grave her daughter is presumably buried in? Was the guy hanging in the basement the officer sent from dispatch? The analogue was very creepy, props to them for that, but my brain can’t wrap my head around what the plot of the game was. ;-;

yeah i was kinda hoping someone would have an explaination in the comments. my guess is that they owned a gun but didn't lock it up properly and the kid shot herself on accident, so the dad wrote it off as a missing child/child abduction to get away with her murder, but the guilt ended up eating him alive. the whole womans face in the woods part is my guess that the mom ended up going to look for her daughter and found the daughter's body and the gun they owned, and thus figuring out that the dad killed the daughter. i think thats what that phone call was, she was trying to report it. "i think someones watching me-" and the cut to the "mom?" in the woods was the little girls spirit reacting to her mothers death. im assuming the dad ended up killing the mother too then hung himself
