Building tracks and specifically Jumps on an RC Track is definitely an art form, and there are some incredibly talented track builders out there. Joey Christensen and Anthony Westergaard are two builders that come to mind that have an eye for great track design and have built the skills to take their ideas from concept to completion and provide racers with incredible layouts to battle on!
This video gives you a few simple rules that I use when I'm building jumps on my home tracks. So hopefully the next time you're building a track of your own you can make some epic jumps for you and your friends! Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe and check out some of my other awesome RC content!

I watched all your build videos on this track, then saw your video at Diehard RC park, realized then that you're somewhat local! I don't have a yard to build a track in myself, but I want a backwoods track like this 😁

What all was needed to fit the stadium truck body on the et410?? Looks awesome !

I put a single threaded post on top of the rear tower. Right in the middle of the top of the shock tower. Then two Truggy body mounts from an 8T 2.0 Losi up front. Had to use some spacers up front. I've done it in the past with just body post extensions from tamiya. Both work

I've got to say you inspired me to build a small track in my backyard it's 1100 sqft. I'm curious what you have attached to the hose (bluecan) clip 5:36.. thanks you're videos are great! Can't wait for more

Awesome! Mission accomplished... haha, the blue attachment is just a bug spray that doubles as a nozzle after the bug spray is gone. Did you checkout my full video at the end of this video?

@TheRacinJason lol Yes, like 4 times already! I've seen lots of you're videos! You have been a great help! We live in Ohio and that's the first thing I did was spray for the bugs!

@daledefluiter5617 awesome! Ya essentially it's just a sprayer nozzle because the bugs laugh at it

@@TheRacinJason Just a 2wd Slash. I've had it for about 6 years, it was stock until a few months ago and now the only stock parts are the shock towers lol. I'm going to be looking at your videos on different cars so I can figure out what I want for a more race specific set up. I definitely want a 4wd platform. Any recommendations going from an intro car to a track specific?
@TheRacinJason

@kolescapes2566 really depends on what you like and where you're racing. Big outdoor track id go to an E buggy. Get something that has local support from a hobby shop or at minimum some drivers so they can help you set it up. Smaller track I like 4wd short course or mini Truggy. I'd choose based on which class has more entries, but if the jumps are big the short course is a little tougher to jump because of the body parachuting

@@TheRacinJason awesome, thanks for the info. I'm in the Coachella Valley area of Southern California, so winter time I can go anywhere but summers are tricky when it's already 120° outside. There's a Hobbytown with an indoor carpet track and a hobby store with an indoor clay track, those will be options for summer time. Is there a standout vehicle as far as tuning for different layouts and surfaces? I'm sure it's better to have specific cars for specific surfaces, but that can get pricey lol. Parts support here is mostly Losi and Associated.

What are your thoughts on short coarse trucks?
@TheRacinJason

Love my short course truck. I only run 4wd... the tekno and the losi are both good! On big tracks with really big jumps they can be tough in the wind! But they're awesome to drive

I got an Arrma Senton 3s 4x4 BLX for my Birthday, I've made some upgrades, Proline Shocks Front and Back, bought some Monster Truck Tires and put them on, had to trim the body so they didn't rub.

@@TheRacinJason I just got into rcs last year starting into the rock crawler scene. Now have a arrma granite 1/10 scale and some others. I have about 6 acres and a few spots for putting a dirt track to run hopefully the 1/10 scale cars , if we need to go smaller it’s an option. Looking to get some guidance on a good layout, best spot to put it , lengths of the straights, turns, where to our jumps and more. FaceTime , messenger whichever and cover cost for said time to help out the design together. I had some dirt brought in, I have a tractor with a land plane and box blade. Just looking for guidance on the design of the track
