Thanks! I love them too, and I'm so glad they can finally get a home outside of my keep-sake box XD

You should hammer the copper wire paper clip (gently) when you are done. That will “work hardened” the copper so it more sturdy.

Oh Gosh... I just screenshotted EVERY single step of the DIY (folder) process PLUS added a note to every single one, so I won't make any mistakes - it took me about 1 1/2 HOURS 😂 Going to see now how many Screenshots I've took, I guess it's been around 30 😂 Because it turned out SO GREAT (❤) I've wanted to have it on my phone to make sure I won't forget about it and give it a try 🥰 TOTALLY forgot that there are plenty of options to download a video from KZbin 😅 Well... I'm going to put all of them in an extra folder on my phone 😅 Your DIY charm ALSO turned out AMAZING... I'm thinking about what things I could add onto that piece of leather... It's amazing, there are SO many options! ❤ I hope that i'm going to find that kind of file card you were using for the folder 🙏🏼 But I'm QUITE sure that I've seen them before if they're the type of cards you "hang" into the drawers of those office cabinet towers... I just have to find the German name for them 😅 NEVER used one of these! 🤭 Thanks SO much for sharing this! 🙏🏼 I can't wait to watch more videos from you / follow -and check out your on Instagram (it'd be awesone if you also sharing your awesome ideas on Insta as well since i'm mostly there for any planner-/ journal related things 🤗) BTW: It is SO nice to listen to you! Your voice is beautiful and you sound so happy & ambitious, it was so fun to watch! 🥰 Have to send this video to my friend now; she hates those LT1917 self-adhesive pen-loops that are actually quite handy for any TN's without a pen loop & FINALLY they offer a "XL" version of them since the basic ones are quite tiny... I bet she's going to love the folder as much as I do! 🥰 Having that leather pen loop attached to it is not only SO handy it also looks so lovely & I like that NOBODY has got the exact same one... 🥰 Alright... my comment has become HUGE 🤭 I hope that you are doing well 🤗 xx Mia

Loved watching you make this TN and now you have jazzed it up with your hacks and I really like it. This is the beauty of TN's and when you make it yourself it becomes your daily life inside that leather. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely idea with the pressed penny!! 😍👌🏻 I’ll have to try it with my “Branson’s luckiest penny” that my son brought me from his vacation. I’ve just been clipping it in my wallet for luck. 🍀😜

Thank you for the great tutorial on how to make a pen loop and file folder dashboard. I am not a crafty person, but this was super easy, and much cheaper than buying one! I have a high powered stapler so I used that instead of the glue. Thanks again!!
@ElderberrySprout Жыл бұрын
The stapler sounds like it will work super well! If you dont want the staples to rub on the other papers you could also cover them with washi tape :) good luck!

😍😍😍...great! I really would try..but what kind of paper should i use for my folder and where to buy it...as same as the leather piece ?
@ElderberrySprout2 жыл бұрын
I used a hanging file folder from the thrift store for the folder. And the leather piece was a scrap I salvaged from an old purse I used to have, again that I thrifted years ago. I'm sure you could find a leather wallet at the thrift store to cut apart :) it may take some time to find the pieces thrifting but I find the thrill of the hunt rewarding! Good luck!
