Oliver hello from America! Just wanted to say thank you for your help in showing me how to use such basic skills in improvising that actually helps me achieve rather than simply making what I would have to admit was more noise than music. I again urge everyone to go to Patreon and try to make even the smallest of donations in order to keep Oliver making these great videos for us!

Yet another excellent video. I’ve been working my way thru mark harrison’s hal leonard blues book and am working on various left hand boogie woogie grooves this week. These right hand exercises fit beautifully over any of these and keep it interesting. Super useful for creating hand independence since the left hand rhythms vary so much and oliver’s motifs force you to fit them together in a tricky way. Much like his other rhythm videos, and very fun.
