As someone who has a stutter it is extremely frustrating to speak to Japanese native speakers as they always come away thinking my level is much lower than it is. It's a huge hinderance for confidence, but one that has to be overcome. Good luck to everyone and get yourselves out there! Thanks to Azusa san as well for another interesting video.

Duncanさん、こんにちは!Thank you for your comment! I totally understand your frustration. It's not easy to talk with the native speakers but it will be fun at a certain level if you keep learning :) Good luck!!!

I have organised my first 会話 with Japanese native this Friday! Thank you for the motivation.
Azusa san, great video as always! Thank you thank you so much :-) I have had similar experiences when I travelled to Germany and Austria, where the person asked me to repeat what I said and that made me nervous. However, learning a new language as an adult is really not easy and most people don't bother to make that effort, so if you have managed to do that and can speak the language half-decently, kudos to you (so I keep reminding myself :-D ). Also, I've noticed most people appreciate it when you attempt to speak in their language, and don't care if you make a couple of mistakes. I have booked my first lesson with a Japanese teacher to practise free conversation. Super nervous and excited :)

Geethaさん、こんにちは!Thank you for such kind comment! I totally agree that it takes a lot of time and effort to learn a language as an adult. I'm now learning French but there are so many things to remember and I always think "it's impossible to learn it". However, I strongly believe that the moment where the foreign language comes so natural will surely come when people keep studying it. I wish you good luck for your Japanese lesson!!

Hi, do you mind sharing the subtitles/caption on your blog? It will be helpful for learning... Thank you. こんばんは、ブロッグに日本語の字幕をアップロードしてくれてもいいですか?自分で言葉を調べたいから。ありがとうございます🙏
Is がいぐこじん a less common form of 外人? ありがとう、せんせい。Excellent video as always.

WakeEntryさん、こんにちは!I think that 外国人 is more commonly used for describing foreigners. 外人 sounds a little impolite for me because it is written like 外の人. Sadly, a lot of Japanese use 外人 but most of them don't have an offensive intention.
