West central Ohio. Soup is a go to for me as a widow. I make a normal pot full, eat a meal or two, then freeze into individual portions. I usually get 6-8 servings, depending on the kind of soup I make. Makes for easy meal planning when I do this.

These look very yummy!, Thanks for sharing. For the tortellini, why not use the juice from the diced tomatoes and use a bit less water? Soup season is on! I look forward to trying these, but maybe not for 10! Lol. I enjoy your videos.

All the soups look great! I’ve been craving soup more and more as the weather gets colder. The soups would be nice canned up ready to go (except for the ingredients not recommended for canning, which could be added before eating). Great ideas, thank you for sharing.

Oh my these soups look yummmmmy! I make huge pots of soup for my hubby who loves soups. I also put salmon in the freezer so my husband can pull some out for lunch and heat it up.:) I cook most of mine in my crockpot. I love it that I could just dump and let Cook all day. Tfs and God bless:)

Looks simple and delicious to make! two of my favorite soups, wild rice and chicken tortilla soup. One difference is the addition of roux, which I think makes it more thicker and creamier. I also add carrots and celery to it since I got the idea from Publix soup station :) Also, you're not alone on judging the size of the cook pot. I am right there with you🙋‍♀👯‍♀

Can I do the creamy chicken and rice soup with only long grain white rice? I don’t like the 2 you used, I think I could just reduce the cook time to 15-20 minutes for the rice since it doesn’t take as long wild rice.
