3 Speed Holster - A "Rounded" Perspective

In this video I try to provide a look at this unique holster from a big guy's perspective. It's different than any gun holster I've tried and while it's taking some adjusting both in the way I train and my mechanics, it has some compelling features that aren't found in any other rig.

What a good review and insight into this holster from a well rounded person. I'm a woman around 300 lbs & have found many of the same issues you've touched on in this video. Shoot there isn't any extra room in most of my pants & shirts now. Let alone add a bulky holster thing in there. I think I'm going to purchase one of these to see if it will work with my extra creases on top of the female curves. Keep up the good work.

This is my go to holster for working out. Wheather your on the treadmill, elliptical, playing basketball, hiking or doing crunches this is what you should have on instead of the fannypack that screams , "look at me I'm working out with my gun". It does stand the test of time I have had mine now for about five years. Great review.

Great review! I purchased my 3 Speed Holster about 9 months ago and absolutely love it. This is one of the most thorough overviews available on KZbin to date and very accurately represents all the pros and cons that I've experienced as well. Like you, I've spoken to the owner, Joe, and I was so impressed that he was willing to take the time to talk to a single-unit prospective buyer for the length of time he did. I can't stop telling all my friends about these holsters. I think everyone should buy one!

I own three of these holsters and usually wear them at 3 o'clock position. Very comfortable and solve the problem of how to carry when wearing sweatpants, gym shorts, or pj's.

I can confirm that Joe does spend time with customers. I called and ordered one last night and Joe spent about 30 minutes with me answering questions and giving great info! Excited to get mine!

Thank you for a great review! I have a Springfield XDS 9mm with a Crimson Trace Laserguard green laser. I checked with some other holster companies but they didn't offer a holster that would work for me. After watching this review, I ordered the 3Speed. It is everything that you said. I love it! Awesome video brotha! And thank you for the shout out! This review was awesome, I can't tell you how happy I am that it functioned so well. Every point you brought up I kept telling my wife, "See! That's another feature of this holster I love!". I didn't even think about the bathroom point but that's totally true lol. Dealing with the bathroom is always a nightmare, I'm buying this holster just for that feature alone lol. I love that you can take it on and off independently from your pants. So many situations in which I have to take my gun on and off, it's such a chore that in some situations I choose not to even carry. And the idea that I can where basketball shorts in the summer and still carry is amazing! Again, another awesome, super thorough review. Your channel is truly one of a kind, nobody is taking the time to address big buy concerns and the big guys posting gun vids just pretend like they don't have these issues. Can't thank you enough and looking forward to the next one!

TY for the comprehensive review. I see a lot of people prefer this holster for carrying when wearing sweatpants, etc...can you tell me how it wears in the car? My car has some pretty pronounced seat bolsters (sporty BMW seats) so it tends to push in on my Glock 19 and OWB Raven Concealment holster. I wear sweatpants a lot because I work from home and prefer the comfort of them. I should also add than I am switching over to the Glock 43 for CCW.

Great Video! As a big guy there are different challenges carrying concealed. It is nice to get a big guys perspective on what works and even better to find out that a Holster Manufacturer is taking us into consideration as they design their product. Kudos to the 3 Speed team! A question for you Sir...You said the 3" elastic is bunching. Do you think wider, say 6" elastic would be better or worse? Maybe something to pass on to 3 Speed for consideration and comment as well. How tight do you wear yours I to have a chubby mid I put mine on as tight as my belt and it isn't comfy to me but inknow it is suppose to be so i have to be doing something wrong

I don't crank it down to the point of discomfort. Snug is the best description.

Hi Mr. Nerd! I got one of these for my VP9 based partly on your video, but then sold the VP9 lol. It IS gun specific right (like you said)? So when I try to sell it I should specify that it is VP9 (right hander, 43-44 hip size)?? I don't have a similar sized gun to try in it. Thanks! Keep up the great work!

Yup, it is gun specific. He does claim to mold them to the gun.

You can run it with other guns. I have one for a SIG P320 with a TLR-1 but I sold that gun. I use it with no issue with my VP9 with an OLight min pl2.
