You should really use insulation resistance test between earth and phase at double the working voltage. That way you get an actual reading instead open loop. Same for phase to phase. I don't know what the range is on your meter but if it only goes to like 100k ohms then you might weak short and not detect it. A fail is less than 1M ohm. Also worth noting if you put a star bar in, you can phase to phase test while checking balance by going u1 to v1, v1 to w1, w1 to u1.

Sorry to break it to you but that's a big NO. You have to disconnect your coils and the power cable before proceeding with measurements.

Smaller motor usually has higher ohm, and bigger motor has smaller ohm

Resistance check between the two screws??? For what? I don't think this measurement is important or necessary

He is checking the resistance of the windings. If they are far off/no resistance, winding can be shorted or broken. He is also checking for the resistances between the three windings. If they have even some resistance in between, the can be shorted and/or broken. Each winding has to be separate from each other and from the ground. The star/delta connections between windings have to be removed for this to work, he forgot to mention it. Replying to an old comment but hopefully this helps.

@Akram He is checking between the earth terminal in the motor connection box and the frame of the motor to ensure there is electrical continuity , zero ohms. This is to make sure that when you connect the earth wire to the earth terminal you are earthing( grounding) ALL of the motor frame , not just the screw.
