What a nice idea: mask with coffee....interesting! The fuchsia red lipstick is perfect with your skin under-tone. For me what I am wearing is key: let's say strong color like navy - definitely red lip. If I am wearing a muted tone - I go nude. What I love about this demonstration is you show us how to keep the whole makeup look natural and subtle AND use a vivid red....without your skin appearing washed out by the lipstick.....love the back of hand to finger tip - PERFECT AGAIN.....Thanks G

Angela welcome into my house via the internet. Love your jacket!! I have a couple very similar but never get a chance to wear them because it never really gets cold here where I leave. I love a good wet mask. Got a silicone cover to put on top to hold the wet mask in place and wear it for a longer time while going about my house. Love your simple but beautiful makeup for the day. Many years ago I went to the Chanel counter and I got a makeover and from that day forward I have copied what they did for me and I look absolutely gorgeous because of it and I look very much with the same kind of complexion with you in the same kind of face shape but with blue eyes and gray hair but I still wear the but minus the eyeliner

Impeccable, as always. This is a look that I frequently do when I have to get ready quickly. I find a little mascara and lipstick and as perfect a base as one can accomplish when one is 70, to be a very fresh look. I rarely have time for a face mask but I do put a thick layer of the Dior Prestige Mask on for a bit and then remove with a very lightly damp warm wash cloth and it makes my skin really glow. Adding a touch of my favorite perfume is the perfect end of my routine. I find your videos so soothing and relaxing to watch. Thank you for sharing your wonderful point of view and expertise. Hi Leah and welcome to my channel! ❤️ Also a huge thank you to Sierra for recommending my channel :) For foundation, I would absolutely recommend the one that I used in the video: N 1 de Chanel. It is glowy and works great on dry skin. Another more affordable (but again luxury) option is the Givenchy Skin caring glow foundation. It's is very light (almost like a serum and feels very nourishing). Both are foundations that I repurchase regularly. And then I have one more recommendation - this is the water fresh tint from Chanel. I have been recommending this one all the time for all skin types and everyone seems to love it. It's a very extraordinary product that contains 70 % water. The coverage is very light and super glowy. But if you want a classic foundation: then the best ones will be N 1 de Chanel and Givenchy prisme libre skin caring glow foundation. Be careful with Givenchy because they have also a matte foundation in the same packaging that I do not love. The Chanel powder doesn't work well for dry skin. I swatched it at the counter and it left a lot of dry patches, very visible so I am staying away from it. I'm currently using the Sisley compressed powder and the Chantecaille Perfect Blur Holiday version compressed powder. I am contemplating the Westman Atelier compressed powder. Do you have any suggestions for very dry and mature skin? I am over 50 years old...

Hi Nathalie, I have two favorites for dry skin that I think you might like: the Sisley loose powder. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZjNnJ-Nq5WGepY I compared it to Givenchy prisme libre (givenchy is best for oily skin in my opinion). And the other one that I love for dry skin is Westman atelier the compressed powder. It's lovely. Both Sisley and Westman atelier are gorgeous and I have been recommending them to a lot of people with dry skin. Everyone seems to be happy so far. But if you can go and swatch Sisley it will be great because they have different colors. For example N 1 Irisée has shimmers and I don't like it. It's too shimmery for me. They have N 2 which is matte and N 3 which is rose d'orient and it's my favorite and then n 4 is for deeper skin tones. For Westman atelier I wear pink bubble which has a light brightening effect.
