This is a very nice build! I'm getting ready to make my first cigar box guitar but after seeing your banjo build I might have to try to make one. Thanks for sharing your material ideas I would have never thought of a pie lid for the head! Your banjo sounds really big for how small the head is!

Plastic 1 liter drink bottle work great too as a shrink able head. No need for a tone ring, just make a taller bridge for better sound.
