3 String Resonator - Finished using Deylina wax. Build video w/ sound samples and Lick Lesson 😏👍🏽

This Floorcaster was built using leftover materials from our church kitchen floor remodel. The Curly Maple neck was finished using DEYLINA WAX from the Holy Land (www.incrediwood.com). The piezo is actually touching the resonator and is wired in parallel with the neck position single coil yielding a very bright crisp sound. 23 inch scale with 24 frets. Enjoy!! 😎👍🏽

I built a 4 string last year and i used that wax, i still regret it. I stopped playing it because that wax never cures out. Thinking about stripping it back down and using a violin varnish i have. I build violins and regular guitars, too. It gets on your fingers and makes them feel slick. Nasty feeling.

Hi Mark. I don't know which wax you used on your guitar, but it was not the Deylina. The Deylina cures like iron and it is hot (boiling) water resistant/proof.

Don't know if it's available in the states, but if you can try Liberon black bison, it's a mixture of carnauba and beeswax and it dries hard and smells gorgeous!

That is a gorgeous maple neck!! Why wouldn't you hot glue the piezo right underneath where the bridge will be? Feedback issues? 21:13 .. Del, you are a Weapon of Mass Instruction!! Love that double down/up riff! Great sound in your workshop!! Like singing in the shower!! ❤
