We think the teen book with the workbook would be a great stand alone catechism course for teens... and in a few relevant videos (Fr. Mike, etc), and it would be a winner!

I love the Sound of Music-and the book by Maria, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers, is one of my all time favorites. You are right about them pulling together as a family, through many difficult circumstances; truly inspiring. My youngest is 15, but there are many families with young children in our homeschool co-op, so I would gift the giveaway book to one of them, should I win. 🥰

Thank you! Please put my name in the drawing for the Timeout book. My oldest daughter has a 4 year old and a six year old and this book would be great for her to use with them. Also, the Handbook for Today's Catholic Teen looks great, especially for what we are doing at our parish this year. We started a Family Faith Program where we are helping families be the primary catechists for their children, as they should be according to the CCC. Maria von Trapp! I love " Around the Year..." and also her book "Yesterday, Today, and Forever." It tells how they taught their family about Jesus. She was such a wise woman. I've added all the books to my list. It would be awesome to win the Time out book.

It's a small pamphlet- type book, Michelle. We have the stand alone pamphlet, but also it is printed in the back of our Around the Year with the Von Trapps book. It's very good- hope you can find it!

A little off topic of this video, but I’m wondering if you could recommend a good book about St. Katherine Drexel? She is my saint of the year and I see several books about her and I thought I could use a little help on which one I should start with. Thank you. The books you share here all look interesting; I could have used the time-out book when my children were growing up. The Maria Von Trapp book also loos interesting, I had no idea her childhood was difficult. Many blessings to you both, Linda

Hi, Linda- the only book biography we have read about her is the Vision book (but we always like those and generally find them to be very good, even for adults to read). We have been keeping an eye out for other biographies of her since she was so amazing and also lived and worked in our general area. We also loved that she helped to support Fr. Augustus Tolton financially. If we come across anything that looks promising, we will let you know.
