Not surprising. She ran back to her room after getting the Wi-Fi info - she wasn’t looking at the ground then because she wasn’t suspecting anything. And she barely made it to that motel; how much farther would she have been able to drive? Hindsight is always 20/20. I’ve lived a long life in a huge city, and I’ve also done a lot of traveling, and I’ve never needed a gun to protect myself. Being smart saves one from a ton of trouble, but there’s always a little bit of luck involved as well.

Getting your tire slashed and narrowly avoiding potential danger is terrifying. Night drives already make me uneasy, but hallucinating a strange man inside your car is next level scary! I enjoy his reading. I don't get scared listening to him read...unless he uses sound effects. The creepiest sounds for me are squeaky hinges, staircases, and playground swings. Those sounds ALWAYS make me nervous. 😮

Story 3 - Lives in the city, yet wanders away from her motel door without locking it? I live in a fairly large town and I don't go out of sight of my front door without locking it. It's basic common sense/security.

Story #2. Anyone else listen to a story like this, and just can’t believe how an “adult”, who says she’s a school teacher, can actually think the way this persons thinks, and act in such a child like manner with every thought she has? Is this how young “adults” actually think these days? Is this behavior really considered “normal” these days? If so, wow how times have changed!

Hey Mr Nightmare, you should make horror stories about encounters with aliens since there is a lot going around now about them actually being real.

With the first story, I wonder if it was his subconcious telling him to pull over and sleep before he got in an accident and hurt someone. I've had hallucinations of hearing or seeing sirens when getting to my car the day after a night out and I swear it's my subconcious warning me I'm still not safe to drive yet. Could also be the shadow men, they're a very common hallucination when you're extremely fatigued.

Story 2. Any time you're traveling and stop for gas, food or whatever always walk around your vehicle and check your tires. If possible park where you can see your vehicle from inside the building.
