Learn football skills EVERY MIDFIELDER should be aware of. In this video Joltter goes through 3 things every midfielder player needs to know in order to be an efficient player and improve their overall football skills. Midfielders are special players and are usually considered to be "the engine" of the team and a lot of the times they are responsible for creating and controlling the game. This video goes through 3 tips every midfielder should know in order to improve your game and make sure your football skills are used to their maximum capacity in game situations!

EXTRA TIPS midfielders should of course be aware of: 🔑 *ALWAYS* look over your shoulder before receiving the ball. This is the most basic thing in the book and should come automatically. 🔑 Try to position your body correctly *BEFORE* receiving the ball. Sorry but I think first rule isnt fully correct because great midfielders and professional players in general must know what is behind them before ball goes to them, therefor if they are coming to receive ball from defender they must know if someone is behind them and then it depends will they turn or pass the ball back to the defender.

Concerning tip #1: I'd say take a look over your shoulder to check if you are under immediate pressure by a defender. If so, pass the ball back. If not, you can turn quickly and move the game forward.

I'm a CM but I play like a forward. While I do make plays in the midfield, I dribble ALL OF THE TIME. So far this season I have 11 goals and 7 assists in 15 matches. It's the most efficient way for me to play and the most fun to be able to create chances for myself and my teammates.

Nayan Dey physicality isn’t everything. I’m also not extremely physical but I am able to play defensive mid very well because I am good at reading the game (defensively) and good at playing long balls. Each position has something that is more necessary that physicality. Find out what you are good at instead of looking at what you can improve on and pick a position off that. Then as you strengthen those weaknesses you may move into another position

I would also add, being able to use both feet is such a useful tool in the center of the field! You can switch play to either side easily and that can start an attack.
