I had a personal encounter when I read the Bible and after reading the Bible I hear a voice saying repent!! And I say to God” how? I had so many sins that cannot count and some of my sins I forget , but what God did is HE spoke to me and hear HIS voice telling all my sins, dictating all my sin whispering to my ear, I cried out loud kneeling down admitting all my sins i confess all my sins one by one!! Jesus delivered me personally in my personal encountered you HIM by reading HIS words!! Truly Jesus and HIS words are so powerful! God is alive!!amen, again Jesus is our deliverer. Deliverance come from confessing our sins one by one!! Amen

This is really good.. I agree with this as someone who has gone from deliverance and deliverance and my problem was that I was not in the Word enough and still giving into the flesh. The more I focus on His presence and His resurrection the more I find my identity in Him and in the Spirit. It has become so much more simple with daily Word and discipline!

@@GeorgiaSnyder-ky8dv I believe the experiences she's speaking of is in the spiritual sense where she was set free from habitual sinning for example. Many Christians are still controlled by the flesh and therefore living daily in the miserable life Paul talks about in Romans 7:14-25. And it's because of that struggle with sin Paul describes, that God gave us grace and DOES forgive us even if we're sinning 500 times a day doing the same thing. He forgives because He loves us and knows that we're working on building our relationship with Him by studying the Bible, praying and building our relationship with him daily. By doing that, the day WILL COME, that thru Jesus and the power of His resurrection as well as the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us, we will overcome the sinful nature and break the bondage of daily HABITUAL sin. The sin that causes many Christians to hate themselves and where Satan, "the accuser of the brethren" torments them by telling them constantly through thoughts, "you're no a Christian, if you were a Christian you wouldn't sin blah blah blah." The way to escape the bondage of habitual sin is to just keep your head down and pray, read the Word, and build your relationship with God DAILY. In time, and as your spirit grows, you will be sinning less and less and you will no longer be addicted to sin, whatever your vice may be, drugs, porn, alcohol etc, and grace is what gets us there.

I've always been a believer. From my childhood even till now. I would pray every night and even during the day. I thank you for showing me the Holy Spirit. Back then, until recently, I never really knew the Holy Spirit. I mean, I knew he was and is a part of the Holy Trinity. I just never seeked him out till now. I'm disappointed in myself that I never wanted to seek out the Holy Spirit. But now I have a newfound sight. That the Holy Spirit is a true, powerful, living being. That he is from God, is God, and has always been God. Thank you for opening my eyes.

I struggle with this simply because I fully believe I did have demons that I got delivered from AFTER becoming a christian. From my own personal testimony & experience I would say that christians can have demons. I was reading my Bible every day & praying & spending time with God & was seeing the work of God in me & changes happening in my life. But there was one area where I would feel like I could not get a handle on & that was my anger which would often turn into rage. I would even feel myself change in those moments and it was like I wasn’t even myself anymore & although I could think to myself “just stop” “this isn’t how God wants you to behave” and I would even have scripture enter my mind, I simply could not stop once it crossed into rage. Even my children said my face would change & I looked scary in those times. I would be angry over something then suddenly it felt like something would shift & I was out of control. I cried out to God for many years in this area. I would repent & tell myself I was never going to do it again & I struggled with feeling like a complete failure. I would wrestle with guilt & shame & beat myself up over it a lot wondering what was wrong with me. Then all of a sudden one day I realized I was no longer affected by it anymore. I hadn’t lost control of myself for about 3 months when I had the realization. I had gotten angry over something that day & while I was thinking on the situation & talking to God about it, it was like He brought it to my attention that I hadn’t had the raging issue anymore. Not only that, it’s like my anger didn’t even come close to that point anymore & since then I have never again felt like I turned into someone or something else not being in control or able to stop. Unless someone can give me a thorough explanation that clarifies what that was other than it being a demon, I don’t know what else to say it was. If it weren’t for knowing that I had no ability to control it even while thinking to myself in those moments, “why am I doing this this isn’t me why can’t I stop, just stop” I would seriously consider that it was just me. I wasn’t ever looking for someone else to blame. I knew it was wrong & I hated it & I wanted the change. Cried so many many tears because I felt like such a hypocrite of an example to my children. I fully believe God delivered me from a demon of rage and I had been a born again believer with a genuine relationship with God for over 14 years by the time I received that deliverance. I know I don’t know everything & maybe I don’t fully understand what I was experiencing or what has taken place but I know it wasn’t like anything else God had dealt with me on or changed me in. This wasnt a struggle of the flesh or not wanting to be obedient or not being submitted to God or not spending time in His Word or presence. The change was sudden & permanent when it happened & the part that convinces me it was a demon was the fact that I absolutely felt like I wasn’t myself, I could feel my face change, and felt I had no control over it in those moments. I just don’t know what else to make of that because the examples of demonized people in the Bible show that they didn’t really have control over themselves in the thing the demon was doing. Even one demonized man came out from the synagogue which was the Jewish church so that man would have likely been a God fearing child of God who had a demon.

I was delivered after being an on fire for Jesus born again believer as well; and saw permanent change in my life as well!! This was many years ago. Matt. 15:16 says deliverance is the bread if the children." I highly appreciate and receive from David's teaching but I think on this he seems out of touch with Christian needing and receiving deliverance from demons not just temptation.

Once a person has been born again and sealed with the Holy Spirit the Devil can only tempt you. He cannot dwell in you or control you because Christ dwells in you. We are called to die to ourselves daily and put to death the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit (Romans 8) if we don’t die to self daily our indwelling sin will manifest itself.

I greatly appreciate all of your testimonies , I believe all of these can be true . The written word of God states we now only know in part. As in a mirror . We one day will have full and thourgh knowledge . Until then. Agree to disagree in love and respect that what God gives to one is different than another all for the purpose of all . We do not need to all agree or have the exact same experience. If we did, that would actually validate God as being human like or small not omnipotent and omnipresence. So continue speaking your own personal truth testimony 🙌 and believe God is capable to do all things 🙏

I completely understand where you’re coming from. While I’ve never had to be delivered from a demon, I’ve heard and seen a lot of people both in the internet and in my own personal life, that do or say things even though they supposedly saved and born again (I say supposedly because I feel like this topic of demonic deliverance can be pushed into other doctrines, like if one can lose their salvation etc.) as well as there’s other people that have full on ministries on deliverance and cater to people that have dealt with similar things like yourself. This whole topic confuses me, but I know that God is not a God of confusion, 2 Timothy 1:7 “for God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” so all we can do is pray for clarity on this. I pray that many others have your same thoughts on deliverance. I just watched a video from Christians from a different church denying deliverance as an occult practice mixed up with Christianity. I honestly have experienced enough about occultism and hinduism, false religions, new age practices, to say that is mistaken. There is nothing holy nor Godly in the occult. There is everything holy and Godly about deliverance. Videos like yours right here are important to stress the importance of one of our many responsibilities as believers, one of them be deliverance.
