Does free shipping help our quality score? Does it factor in being shown anymore? I lose thousands a year after they rolled out the free shipping... It didn't really bring in the sales they promised.

Free shipping doesn’t matter at all I doubt it

No, it doesn't help. It used to but Etsy took that away some time ago but kept it quiet

It doesn't seem to, I don't see that many shops with free shipping when I'm searching for anything. It's about 50/50 for me, I get a lot of orders under the $35, but I make more profit on orders over $35 that have 2 or more items. What seems to boost things is running discounts, especially now the Etsy app has the new section of just sale items. Which is irritating as a seller but I can't blame buyers for waiting for a sale either.

Thanks. My shop really went to hell when they ran that 20-60% off sale all September. It really hurt my shop in the search. Now it's a fixed feature... ugh. I guess I'll have to charge more and make it look like my stuff is on sale just to be seen! I hate being pressured into this kind of somewhat deceptive marketing. Etsy wants to be like Temu I guess... @@TypeNineStudio
