In the beginning, I isolated myself from my friends because they were attending a regular college, even though none of them are pursuing CA or any other professional course. All I used to do was blame myself for choosing the open university, where my friends were enjoying their college life, while I was attending lectures, revising, and submerged in books all day. No enjoyment, no friends, nothing. I wasted my first attempt because of this. It took me time to understand that we have different paths, and it's me who's pursuing a professional degree. So, yes, the journey would have to be hard; otherwise, everyone would be doing it. Peer pressure and FOMO are really something crazy; I did so much overthinking because of that.

So, 10 years of that really gave me reality check. But still every now and then because of group projects i had to interact formally which eventually made me realize that i have attachment issues and i basically become a doormat for anyone who decides to have a conversation with me. So, at the age of 18 when i moved abroad and saw some wild roommates, it took me two days to get the message that it is going to be the same as School life. Now in early 20s and still don't know what friendship is supposed to be. Or if i even need one. With it I again convinced myself to go for CA inter again with it, I failed 2 attempts again and covid came later and I was not in mental frame of mind to continue with it. I completed my Masters in 2021, and in 2023 again gave my Attempt for Nov 23. Earlier I had tried to study on my own and I now knew where I was lacking behind, I needed guidance from teachers and proper classes, this time I had done Group 1 classes properly and aimed to split it Group wise, but I failed with small margins in Nov 23, I am again going to give my attempt in May 24. Right now I am 27 years old, I will become a CA before I turn 30 years old. It's a promise I have made to myself. Even my own family members, like my sister who previously supported me, now taunt me because she secured a government job at just 18. I haven't attempted the exam yet, but I am filled with fear and can empathize with your feelings of uncertainty. I have no friends, as I tend to isolate myself due to being introverted. Whenever I feel low, there is nobody there for me. It feels like I'm wasting my time, and people who were once supportive change when we don't meet their expectations. Only my parents provide me with a little support. I have one friend who always checks up on me and supports me, but I've distanced myself from him because I fear being alone if I don't meet expectations. Those around me have expectations because they believe something good will come to them if I succeed, but if I don't, I understand the disappointment...

I've wasted a lot of time of my preparation period in doin activities which only gave me momentary satisfaction. Thanks a lot for such giving such valuable knowledge and lessons sir.

Dost ❌ Career ✅ I'm also a nice guy, earlier i also found it fascinating to have friends, to have female friends, 😅 to talk to them, to pass exams same time, to remain in touch with my fellow mates, but now i can also relate to you sir, all people have ultimately stopped talking with each other. Friends don't matter anymore now to me, in courses like CA, it all ends upon you only, others will leave you the moment they think your need is not for them 😢. We by that time tend to attach to that person, and the moment they leave, it creates self doubt upon our own selves 😢. They will talk to you when they are free, but the moment to want to talk them whn they are busy, they'll BLOCK u without giving a thought to your efforts in that friendship or relationship, happend with me too. But the only thing is you become emotionally weaker and waste your time. All have their own lives and goals, even people say they are friends even if they haven't talked for last 1 year 😂, LoL So, who ever reading my comment, make sure put yourself first, then your career, then family, then those FAKE FRIENDS 😏. and plz don't get attached to anyone during your career journey ! All will leave one day !! 💁

I have been doing the same mistakes again and again. My first final attempt was on may 2022. I cleared grouped 2 in nov 22. Since then i am failing group 1 because i feel i cannot prioritize myself. I prioritise people their life. And its my third attempt for group 1 l, technically 5th attempt. I have 10 days left for my exams and i haven't prepared well this time too because i didn't prioritise my studies. I feel miserable.

I am also facing same problem since my first attempt of Ca final had due dec 21 , I gave priorities the People more than my studies because I think, if I did not give time to him him/ her than don't talk to me and when they have turn come they giving you excuse.... That point of time I realised that kaash aapne aapko ko samay diya hota to shayad kaha hote. So here If you don't mine , Can we connect over here.

No Feidnship is Forever! The Greatest Lesson I've learnt in life at 35 years of age is The People Whom You Travel With is all that matters. If you grew up in India in the 90s You might have Area / Flat / Colony Friends You have your schools Friends Your have your college Friends You have your Random friends that you make while Travelling / Or any activity. Your Parents and Grand Parents if you're lucky enough to have them Travel with You thru all These. It's like SuperStar Philosophy in Life. Life moves on. You move on. You Ascend slowly and when you reach the Glass Ceiling, Shatter it. And Keep Climbing and Ascending. I rebooted and restarted my Professional and Personal life 34. Its like Matthew McConaughey lines from his Oscar Speech 2014. Whatever it is you look up to, whatever it is that you look forward to and whoever is it that you're chasing, to that I Say Amen and To That I Say Alright, Alright, Alright! Every second of this video seemed to realistically jolt me... I have done all of this... Over prioritising the friends, being a rank holder at school level and goofing up with everything in CA journey, getting diagnosed with very bad jaundice just 2 months before one of my inter attempts... This couldn't have got much relatable. I too have learnt the lessons the hard way. I cleared my foundation in june 2015.. And here I am, attempting final both groups in may 24.. I curse myself for the mistakes I have made.. It is all irreversible now.. But, I hope, I get through this time... Thanks for this video 🫶❤️

Sometimes, you need a reality check w.r.t all the blunders you have made and sabotaged your life. But, at the same time, it's a motivation too, that there's always a way back towards your destination, even if you have travelled the wrong path all this time.. So, this has unknowingly done it's work in many ways.

Dude! Oh my god! I also got a terrible jaundice just 15 days before my Nov 23 Finals. I was so weak that I couldn't even sit for extended period and you know its a lengthy disease to treat. I felt so frustrated about it because even after following a strict no outside food and water rule for the past 4 months, I still got diagnosed with it!. I literally was thinking to not give 1st grp. But gave both of them anyhow. Passed in 2nd grp but failed in 1st. It felt so bad and frustrating that it wasn't even my fault. But as you said its the other 5% when its just a bad time. Still continuing the acceptance process. Its tough and it always linger somewhere behind your mind even if you feel you have overcome it. But we move forward. Hopefully May 24 will turn out the best. Thank you man! Felt so good to share with someone who can understand how it feels! Much appreciated and more power to you!

This is my first comment in KZbin. Before watching your video, I "was" a CA student. But now, I can confidently say that I "am" a CA student. I cleared my CA Intermediate in 2020 after seven attempts without regular classes. Fortunately, my hard work paid off, and I cleared CA Intermediate with five exemptions out of seven papers. However, after clearing CA Intermediate, my positive attitude towards CA was almost drained. I attempted CA Final Group 2 three times without proper preparation or classes. I felt depressed comparing my life with others', lacking qualifications, a job, or any enjoyment. So, I decided to work and study simultaneously. However, my focus shifted entirely to my job, and I stopped attempting exams. After working for two years, I moved to another country. Despite being happy with my job, something was haunting me badly - CA. I recently watched this video, and now the haunting is intense. Now I realise that why I took 7 attempts to clear CA Intermediate. You are absolutely right. I wish to restart my preparation for Final exam. I am unsure whether I can succeed, where to start, or how to achieve it. Nonetheless, your video inspired me to RESTART my incomplete journey. Thank you, sir. I hope for more videos for CA students, and I would be grateful if you could upload a video for CA Final students regarding preparation and all. Best wishes for your future endeavours.

Its all about how you balance , life is not only in being a CA . One must know when to study hard and when to chill. If you do this properly , no harm in making friends.
@CAHareesh7 ай бұрын
That's one perspective, brother. but if only that was easy to follow. If only it was easier done than said. It's like people saying drinking alcohol is no harm as long as you know how to keep it in moderation. It's like people saying gambling is fun as long as you know how to keep it under control. There are people who can skillfully balance between watching a full cricket match the previous day and still going to the exam and get 93%. I have seen those people. they can switch ON and OFF just like that. They look like they're magicians. For a lot of ordinary people like me, we need to get skilled in SELF CONTROL first before we can think of clearing CA. In this channel, you will never hear me saying "IT'S ALL ABOUT BALANCE." You will only hear me saying. THROW YOUR PLAYSTATION AWAY. THROW YOUR SMARTPHONE AWAY. THROW TOXIC FRIENDS AWAY. because "FINDING BALANCE" never worked for me. It will never work for the thousands of students like me. For a lot of us, we work in black or white. We are either all in or all out. Good luck with your approach. We will do what works for us. Thank you for the comment, though.

Wow CA Hareesh ... The lessons you or almost everyone who goes through attempts in CA is so so well articulated here. I'm a CA finalist with one group left and have long been here. I've made a lot of changes to my approach and attitude and truly understand work ethic is all that helps. I could connect so well to everything you spoke ; I am someone who thought oh I can understand sums so fast, get answers in the calculator and my command on the language is better than most and hence I am a sure shot CA product. I now stand to realize all your 3 points are just so true. I have my wife who cleared her group last attempt and is now a proud CA (and am the proudest friend-husband) now and I can't wait to get there and another childhood buddy who are the two who always always are there to lend their ear, shoulder and heart ; the rest - they are there to get things from me in some way or the other or are just mere contacts. Your points sure are so so well received ; took a 15 min break for dinner and I am glad I used it to see your video. I really hope to clear the last group and wish to have a channel of a similar sort to be able to share my experiences and learnings too. Thanks and you are an inspiration. Lots of wishes to you. In 1st attempt even I use to prioritize my friends Instead of thinking my remaining syllabus I use to start teaching them for 4/5 hours on call ....thinking I shld help my friend at that time I use to think my friend is facing difficulties I shld help her out... I got many humours about grp 2 is very tough I always majority of times keep on studying eism and audit and remaining time for grp 1.... But even till exams I was lacking behind..... Just bcoz Whatever time I wasted countinously on call for long long hours instead of helping out myself first I helped them unfortunately.... Which subject I use to teach them on call I failed in that subject not only in that subject but I failed both grp on the other side they cleared both the grp with exemption... At the end of the day I learnt stop priotizing others..... They are working in big 5 having a good life... After that didn't received any call or text....
