Let me summarize in case anyone wants to take notes!! This video focuses more on EXECUTION 1) RESET YOUR GOALS Become a studious person----->shift in identity----> Change in vocabulary---->Replace finish with start 2)GAMIFY YOUR CA PREPERATION Split an hour into 4 slots of 15minutes----->Make a sheets of grids---->Cross a grid on completion of every 15minutes 3)LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS Start with 3hr per day(1 week)---->Level up in next week(SLOWLY) Thank you so much i thought you'd suggest to quit CA when I saw the thumbnail😭😭 And the ways you said are so unique and practical unlike other videos Thank you Ily🥺!!!

Our first goal should be to become someone who studies regularly. But who exactly is that? A regular studier is someone who doesn't struggle to sit down and study. They manage to study for 7 to 8 hours every day for about 5 to 6 months. To do this, it's crucial to ignore distractions like what others expect from you, and just concentrate on studying. So, how do you become a regular studier? You need to prioritize studying more and more every day. Over 6 to 8 weeks, this will become a natural part of who you are. Hii Hareesh, This is Aravind from Chennai, a few months ago I think purchased your book “Substance over form” from Seetharam & Co, Royapettah. And I found your video in my KZbin algorithm a couple of days ago. Seriously I was at the lowest point in my life a few months back as I am a 2nd year direct entry student and still couldn’t clear Intermediate, I was assigned to visit a clients place in Royapettah and someone from that office told me that there’s a very old book shop nearby and I just wanted to take a break from work Soo I visited the shop, I was hardly there for 5 mins, I saw your book in the front rows, something in myself made me to pick it up. Didn’t even see the price though. I billed, kept in bag and came out. Your book is a must read for all the struggling aspirants, good job Hareesh!! Really I didn’t know it was you, today I was restacking my bookshelf and suddenly connected the dots. Hope it’s your book only, please acknowledge this comment!

Hi. I'm sorry for your situation. You are saying you have given your best efforts. But please check if it is best enough. Our perception of how hard we are working vs how hard we are actually working could be two different things. Just follow the points I said in this video meticulously. and then, know that, to clear CA Inter group 1, you need at least 700 hours of preparation. Check with yourself if you have made that much amount of effort. Don't blindly say yes. Actually track your study time this attempt. Make sure study & revise for at least 700 hours (230 hours per paper roughly). Aim to do 4 revisions of each paper and write 2 model tests. This will increase your chances of clearing by miles. Hope this helps.

Hareesh bhai, the way you explained is so apt just tumbled upon your videos via youtube recommendation, I could relate to all the problems,including topping in school life these are all the problems I face, well articulated. Counting from cpt onwards, this will be my 15th attempt (2+7+6) Got an exemption in paper 6d - 68 marks in Nov 22 and yet to clear both groups for CA final, instead of focusing on both groups, I shifted to giving only group 2 this morning bcoz there was very less time left for group 1. I had the whole time to myself but still the perfectionist problem and the mock test problem you mentioned in your videos caught me too.. After seeing this video, I'm thankful I got the proper guidance and the way forward. I was upset this morning that I'm giving in from both groups to group 2 only (2 papers left). Although, now I'm satisfied that atleast I will give group 2 and hopefully would clear group 2 (I got 68 so I need 41 in DT and 41 in IDT to clear group 2). I will write and solve the important problems. My 2nd reading is done for dt and 1st reading for idt(reading included solving few questions of each chapters in writing) . I was not keen on giving the mock test papers due to the fear of shattering my confidence so close to exams but not anymore.. I am clocking 8-9 hours effective... Hoping to raise it to 12 effective hours in coming week. Thank you so much for your laser precise guidance❤ loved your content. Hoping to clear group 2 this time, and group 1 in nov 24(My 16th attempt) be CA Kartik Jain.
@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
Thank you for writing, Kartik. And kudos to you for sticking this long in this pursuit despite having double-digit number of attempts. This will all make sense. Just hang on. I'm glad you've decided to stick to one group at least 2 weeks ahead of the exam. That will change things. Just aim to revise DT & IDT at least two more times (at least the key chapters). let me know how did your exam go. I wish you the best.

Okay I have a question sir I can study for one hour in one go but I need to take 15 to 20 mins off after every one hour and again I can study for one hour effectively and efficiently but as my exams are in may I am having constant guilt about wasting those 20 mins that i can't even study in next 1 hour and specially if someone is taking break what should we do in those 15 to 20 mins . Using a phone for videos or games is the same as studying for my brain so after 15 mins I feel ohhh my brain is working for almost 75 mins now , jabki in reality I wasn't studying for the last 15 mins i study at library and in Tier one city it's difficult to find the grass and gardens to go and sit or have a walk like most of people suggest that students should walk in a break or go for quick streching and there is last part which is sleep if I sleep I wake up after 15 to 20 mins after that which I am fresh but sleeping after every hour for 20 mins is wrong at many levels i think Please help thank you ❤️🌻
@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
thank you for this question. you're so right that when you watch videos or play games during the break time, your brain is still active. many students don't realise this. anyway, you can keep your study routine like this: study for 60 mins. bring your break down to 10 mins (15-20 mins break for 1 hour study seems to be a bit a high from my point of view). in those 10 mins, you can try some mindfulness exercises. you said you can't walk. (actually getting off the chair and going for a short walk is THE BEST solution. but since you said that's impossible, let's see the other solution. you can sit in your place, close the book, keep your eyes closed or open and just get aware of your own breath. the mind will definitely wander off your breath. just gently bring it back. you can do this like a game. this is option #1. option #2 you can sit in the same place, simply close the book, and let your mind wander. let it go to 200 different places. doesn't matter. but you can simply employ some mild focus on where it wanders. you are highly likely to get a lot of dots connected either in your academic concepts as well as your personal life where you need solution for a given problem. Remember, you don't TARGET your mind to do this. you just let it go like how you let go a cow graze on its own. you let it wander freely but you are just having an eye on it. i do these two methods personally apart from taking walks. you try these and let me know if they work. all the best.

I read both your comments. A simple math I will give you. forget about family pressure. friends living a better life. money invested by parents etc etc. The math is, It will take at least 1200 hours of focused work to comfortably clear CA Inter (minimum 4 rounds of revisions and 2 model tests). Ask yourself two questions. 1) have you done that much amount of effort in the past? 2) can you do that much amount of effort? If your answer is no for Qn #2, you should find something else than CA. I know it's a hard truth but we can't approach CA like B Com. All the best.

I know I'm giving you the sweet answer, but you should go and write the exam no matter what you think the result might turn out to be. If you write the exam, you will gain at least 2-3 takeaways of actually writing the paper instead of just being at home. Those insights might be a game changer for the next attempt.

@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
this video is mainly for those students who have not been able to clear CA exams mostly due to lack of consistent study schedule. But it looks like it's your first attempt. Even though you have regular full-day classes, you can build a solid study schedule. For you, I would say, start your self-study hourcount from 1 hour per day apart from class hours. Build from there and increase your self-study hourcount once the class hours start to decrease.

I'm in last few days of final exam.... the thing is when i am getting close to exams my performance is going down .... I am worried right now..... I am committing new kind of mistakes that i never did before.... I was writing last round of full tests today. This last round of full tests i will do without giving reasonable revision. It worked in my Inter. I am giving everything to get beyond 55+, because of the new mistakes my score goes down to 30-40 ..... where I am going wrong?? It could help me a lot bro....
@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
Can you honestly tell me how many revisions you did before writing the model tests? My guess is, you're making new mistakes because your preparation is still a WIP. There is nothing with your brain or intelligence. Don't the new errors personally. Just do a couple of more revisions in key chapters and test yourself. Exam anxiety inversely proportional to the amount of revisions made. this video might help you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3XXnIeoq8mtmqs All the best.

@@CAHareesh First I will complete 90% of the paper in a 12 or 15 day period and then I will give one full test... this goes for all the papers like FR then AFM then DT, IDT likewise.... sometimes it will take 20 days for papers like DT, Audit.... after this first round i will start the second round .... in this second round i will only look back on the first round results about where i made the mistakes. To my disbelief, the areas where i consider myself weak or i have to work more, there i performed more than enough but the areas where i know for a fact that I am good, I did silly mistakes in step 1 and cascading effect lead to my entire answer is wrong..... the third revision is for the main exams which i will be starting from tmrw..... this is my template for any attempt.

As I have tried many time to clear my concepts but I failed ... Plz guide me specially in audit .. Thank u so much sir for replying
@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
I hope you’ve already cleared Group 2. If I’m in your situation, I would do the following, to clear Group 1. 1) I would aim to clock 600 hours for 3 papers (In my opinion, 600 hours is more than enough for 3 papers. 200 hours per paper, since you’ve already been writing this for quite a while now, it’d be more than enough) 2) I would not keep my approach as trying to “master concepts.” My final goal is to clear the paper. My final aim is to get to 50+. Agreed, conceptual clarity is required for problem solving. But that’s an easy trap for a lot of students. If you keep conceptual clarity as the key target, you might get complacent and start to audit the problems instead of working them out. Especially with FR and AFM in your first group, you need a lot of problem solving. Aim to practice the problems of the full book at least 3 times by keeping the solutions open. Just sit with the material and try to tinker with one concept per day. Be open to make as many errors as possible. When you do a lot of rounds of trial and errors, you would automatically see yourself mastering the concepts. Nothing works as effective as “trial and error” approach. It’s not a pleasant process. But an effective one, anyday. 3) Specific to auditing, keep a target of plain reading of the ICAI’s Auditing study material for 5 times within some 80-90 days. 5 times minimum. You don’t try to research or make new notes. You can highlight the material if you want. But just plain reading. Extensive reading. (Not intensive reading.) You keep reading even if you don’t seem to understand fully. Just trust the process and let your eye go through all the parts of the study material. Don’t forget. 5 ROUNDS. In 90 days. Full study material. I’m guessing you’d be writing in November. Start this idea today and write to me in 90 days on how you stand in Auditing. If you still don’t feel confident, we will think of some other ideas. This is how I would go. Hope this helps. - Hareesh

On 2nd day I could not study for 15 hours but studied till 12 hours But that day felt sad Day-3 I studied till 8-9 hrs Next day I couldn't study even till 5 hours....then took gap for 2 days with unnecessary thoughts...felt very little for not studying for 15 hours a day..after that stop reading again from time to time.1st of all couldn't agree. Actually I was thinking of finishing it but instead I have to start first.

Hello sir , i wasted my 2 inter attempts and didn't study now i am stuck with the September attempt. Its do or die for me. I am ready to give my all. I have taken classes for group 1 before. But procrastination made it all go in vain except for tax. As there are only 4 months left for September attempt. Should i take Fastrack lectures for group 2 ? Is cracking CA Inter both groups possible in this time frame?
@CAHareesh8 ай бұрын
I would not recommend both groups for you. Even though there are only 6 papers, as copmpared to 8 previously, I would say you aim for only group 1. There is no such thing as do or die really. I have said this so many times to myself. That attitude didn't help at all. Also, even if I fail in that attempt, nothing changed much for me in my life. So, just lower the stakes. Aim for one group. Follow the ideas I share in my videos like tackling perfectionism, gamifying your preparation etc. I'm sure if you just focus on one group at a time and be consistent, by January, you will clear your second group as well. That's your safest route.

@@savyatabhattarai1607 I have asked to start from 1 hour and build from there. if you're studying just 1 hour, there will be some backlogs accumulated for the time being. But if you establish the habit and start to scale it to 2,3,4 hours per day, your backlogs will automatically be cleared. don't let the short term accumulation of portions panic you. focus on establishing the habit and scale it later.
