I started a money challenge to create a cushion. This will be my first money challenge and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be cutting back on spending and wasting especially wasting money for food purchases. It’ll be better for me to shop weekly or on a as needed basis. Thank you for your channel ❤

I set up a bi-weekly deposit to my robo-invesment account & my high yield savings (regular savings vs my federal tax payment fund), weekly EFT purchases & adjusted my 401k election now that I qualify for an employer match. Hi Adalia, 401k max contribution - bi-weekly Schwab brokerage account in place with direct bi-weekly contributions (currently invested in Berkshire Hathaway, will buy Vanguard ETS, automatic purchase not yet setup Schwab checking - only used for travel - bi-weekly contributions Ally Savings for emergency liquid funds - bi-weekly contributions Ally checking set aside for travel - bi-weekly contributions Bank of America checking used for day-to-day expenses Paying off car this year Leaving the US this year

I have reviewed each of my accounts, ensured that my beneficiary form is updated and checked the performance of various stocks and bonds. I also purchased and laddered a number of certificates that have higher rates (as opposed to having minimum to zero growth). There are some other things that I will tackle based on this video.
