I like your vibe man. Alot of other guys making disk golf content tend to come off semi obnoxious imo, causing me to loose focus on any tips or advice.

Dude, love to see you out there in the snow. This snow has kept me home and I'm going crazy. Gonna try these changes at home. Appreciate the video.

Pretty good stuff man! 3 good points. Cant wait to try the spin doctor grip tip! Only thing im not so sure on is turning the hips way back like that on the x step. I think more like a baseball swing. You load the back hip and low back, but you don't rotate so much. Its more about building tension than turning away. I suck at backhand, so take that with a grain of salt, but im sure it's true in baseball hitting and BH is a lot like a lefty swing.

I actually agree with you about the rotation...Im definitely experimenting alot with different aspects of the hips and a more linear shift seems to be helping currently. Its not so much rotating the hips as it is moving the hips in a linear fashion and "allowing them to rotate." If that makes sense. Ive definitely achieved a sensory overload of information this offseason 😂

I think you make a lot of great points here. For me what I'm having to relearn are: 1) Fix the swing path, then work on footwork. 2) Gripping too hard can injure the finger tips, for no benefit. It's a cure for people like Robbie who had a problem letting go of the disc early. BTW that grip tip of holding the disc without the thumb is something I don't recall seeing before. And I've watched practically every form video on KZbin. I may have seen it years ago, but until literally now, was unaware of it. With that said, the way I hold the disc, I can lift the thumb without dropping it. However after watching your tip, I have adjusted my grip slightly to hold it better without the thumb. Will try this on the weekend to see if it helps.

First time seeing your content, and I must say....I'm impressed! Just gained another subscriber! And I'm absolutely going to try out that grip change. It completely makes sense, and yet I've never heard about this until now. Looking forward to watching more of your content!!

Hey noobs...don't love it so hard you go play in effing snow! The fun stops when ice is present! Nothing you do in snow translates to really playing in normal conditions

Agreed...thats why at no point am I throwing while standing on ice or snow in this video. Its fun to go play in those conditions but expectations should be low and its certainly not the time to attempt form changes. If I "actually" play a round in the snow its mostly standstill forehands because its so treacherous
