This was a great video. Another suggestion I would make along with the lines of physical affection, is to avoid the “frump” syndrome which is basically after women get in a serious relationship, married, or even have kids. They tend to become frumpy so like they don’t comb or brush their hair, stay in their pjs all day, don’t wear anything cute to bed, and gain weight. Like I think we have all heard and read but men are visual people, and how you present yourself to your man is a reflection of that. Just another tip :)

I take issue with the 5 love languages book. People had no issue in the beginning of the relationship bc they were just happy to be together. “Love languages change based upon what individuals are delinquent at the time of assessing their language. It makes the goalposts endlessly move based on what someone “needs” (wants) at the time. Instead of getting mad at someone for not doing what you want them to do, be the driver in your own life. For men we need to become the most respectable as we can be. For women you need to become as lovable as you can be. Both need to hit the gym, lost fat, gain muscle and stop eating garbage. When we each become what the other desires, love languages won’t matter (because they don’t)

I was thinking about this recently and it seems to me that what has happened is that, as men, we're brought up to be tough and are slowly starved of physical affection as we get older because only the weak need affection. The only time it's acceptable for us to have physical affection is when it is a part of sex. Then we don't know there is a difference between the two. Then we get ourselves in all sorts of trouble with promiscuity and infidelity because we don't know how to read our needs. For example, I know if I'm craving chocolate milk, I'm thirsty and I just need to chug some water and the craving will go away.

Healthy relationships require open communication - not only between partners, but between humans as well. Rather than continuing to leave "the norm" up to the imagination, it's *far* better to put it out into the open so "the norm" is understood. That doesn't mean "the norm" must be obliged by everyone - what works for one person may or won't work for another. What it *does* do is removes societal shame based on incorrect assumptions from a person's imagination. If you think that's "too much information", you and reality are going to butt heads - often.

So we've both had to have an open mind, he explains what he means and we learn about each other this way too. I support him by helping him find solutions, preparing meals and keeping home tidy so he can focus on work outside of the home, and any other tasks he may ask me. And physical affection is a big deal for me too, ladies try it with your husband! Hugs, kisses, loving touches like hair/head or arm/shoulders go such a long way! It's like saying a physical "hello I'm here and available for you" from both sides 💕🥰

The 3 points you make: spot on. Just one thing: men who have their stuff together don't "desperately need" anything. If we did, MGTOW would not be a thing. These are things a quality woman must provide if she wants to get and keep a quality man. If she doesn't, he eventually "gets" that she doesn't really want him (as her lack of actions in these areas communicate this), so he packs up and moves on. Ladies, don't ask where have all the good men gone if you refuse to do any of these things for any man. I don't stay where I'm not wanted. Neither do most other men in my experience, quality or otherwise. The few that are weak and clingy, no one wants. 29 years together, 23 married, wife and I still very much into each other. You're not the only one, sir. I married an incredibly beautiful woman I met at Church - I often refer to her as an Asian version of Jessica Rabbit. She was sweet. She was submissive. She was supportive. She liked classic rock AND the three stooges (she was 11 years my junior)! She was a lot of fun. And then she got pregnant. And she became someone I didn't know. I gave her grace while she was pregnant. While she was nursing. While she was starting her business. While we moved. While we bought and moved into a house. Then one day as we were preparing to move out of the house (we lost) she was going on one of her rampages and it occurred to me: "OMG, this is who she really is! She's never going to be that person I met, fell in love with and made a child with"! She had pulled a total 180 on me! All the while I was working a full AND part time job to try and keep us afloat financially. I also did most of the cooking, cleaning, shopping, household budgeting, driving and when she wanted a dog we got one and I had to take care of her too ( that dog's sleeping at my feet right now - lol!). Marriage counseling - I did it. Church attendence, Bible study groups? "Praise the Lord!" I'm in! I Gave her validation constantly (which, watching these pro-man KZbin channels they tell me is the worst thing in the world you can do for a woman!). Finally, when our Son went off to college, she went with him to keep an eye on him. While we were in the process of figuring out how we would move forward in the relationship she came down with a really bad case of CoVid and passed away two weeks later (January 2021). My whole life for 20 years was centered around trying to make her happy, so now I have this big hole in me. I miss her greatly, but honestly my life is so much simpler and easier now. Working on fixing me. I put on 140lbs during the 22 year marriage, during the last three months I've lost 40lbs of it! It's an exciting journey of recovery - and the dog she made us get keeps me feeling needed, respected and loved! Still a lot to work through, though. Best of luck to both of us. Thanks for listening.

@@riverdrop777 I've seen that too Stephanie, and I came very close to breaking and running in 2010, but God sent me a very clear message that he wanted me to stay in the relationship. Around 2014 there was a straw that broke my meek and humble nature and I threatened to walk. After that she calmed down and dialed back the rampages from a level 10 to a 5 which I could tolerate. It was an uneasy, unspoken mutual level of acceptance that we kept in place until she and the kid rode off to College in late 2019. There were weekly or biweekly conversations about our son or her mother's verbal abuse of her (she moved in with her Mom, and it was her Mom who brought CoVid into the home they shared. Her Mom passed away 9 days before my wife, also from CoVid ). It's been quite a journey/adventure. For those who trust in God and keep their end of the bargain he blesses them, one way or another. I've said this across multiple red pill and psych channels. Women confuse the word servitude and submissive and the definition of it with something opprrssive and controlling. Love. Real love. Agape love not romantical whimsical love is submitting yourself with trust and vulnerability before someone worthy of it. Even Jesus Christ knew better. He washed the feet of his own aoostles despite being their master.
@aaronburdon2213 жыл бұрын
Submission is not the same as subservience. Submission is given willingly out of love or at least respect. Subservience is given out of fear or danger. A lot of women mix these 2 words up. Men submit to their women and women submit to their men. Women submit a lot of their autonomy to his leadership outside of the home, and men submit a lot of their autonomy inside the home. Both sides need to be honored because both are equally important if they're doing their job correctly.

Awesome video! I think everything boils down to one word: Respect. Respect is the highest compliment a woman can pay to a man. It is the affirmation of his masculinity. You see it not only in the grand gestures but in the little things as well. Men never forget acts of respect from a woman, whether it's how you treat his parents or the boundaries you set around others around him or the little gestures to acknowledge his masculinity when in the presence of other men -- men value respect. I once dated a girl in a long-distance relationship. Once I arrived in her city on a visit, and I was staying at a place that was quite some distance from her. The weather wasn't great that day. There was a massive storm and I wasn't expecting to see her until the following day. But there she was in her beautiful braids, standing at my door, completely soaked in the rain. I didn't need any further proof to let me know how much she adored me. I recall someone else I dated and how she bowed her head instinctively and listened attentively as I offered her words of advice before an overseas trip. When I finished speaking, she made a point of letting me know she took every word of mine seriously. One more thing, I believe in co-leadership in relationships. By that I don't mean a chaotic power struggle, but instead that a good man recognizes his wife's or lover's leadership strengths and lets her take the lead in such areas. By default, most men get to lead the relationship for evolutionary reasons, and most women want it that way. But that doesn't mean a man gets to lead everything in a relationship. In areas where you recognize your wife/lover has superior abilities, one should have the wisdom and humility to pull back and let her lead in such areas, unless she wants you to. I'm also a strong believer in being supportive of a woman's career, as long as it's not to the detriment of the home. That means I'm not trying to compete with her professionally as much as I'm trying to support her. It doesn't mean one lacks drive or ambition, because it won't prevent me from being the best at what I do. In return, I expect the woman to do the same. In essence, I'm saying the being supportive part goes both ways, just like respect and affection. But the respect part is sacrosanct to masculinity.
@adamsanders22703 жыл бұрын
There is a beautiful dance to the vision you put forward in this video and the one for women’s need. When a woman feels safe and secure she will want to honor and respect the man who provides that. If a man feels like you are on his team, he will want to listen to you and here your thoughts and needs. The affection needed by women is a great conduit to lead to the sex a man needs. The hard part is conversely, these can be very hard to connect when one or both are failing to serve the other in that way. If a woman doesn’t feel safe she will not respect her husband. If a mans affection is never reciprocated with sex he may be tempted to with hold affection. Humility and a decision to seek to care for your spouse in the way they need it can lead to an amazing complimentary relationship.

Is the word "submissive' even legal nowadays?
@brians17933 жыл бұрын
Only if the man is being submissive, if anything men are shamed for NOT being that, even when it's absolutely beyond their will to be that. Happened to me in a narcissistic abusive family as the youngest, my twin sister being enabled to be very abusive and manipulative to me and me being forced to be 'submissive' in general, even though that wasn't my personality at all. I'm a lot like a sigma male, I have no problem assuming a fairly submissive role with leaders, depending on WHO it is, that's what they didn't get. I could be a leader, but ONLY if I truly believed I was the best leader, I'd say if I think another person would be better for the role. But I can't stand people that want to lead because of their ego, or because they're just a narcissistic abusive person. I'm naturally a strong, intelligent, 'independent' type with a strong will, patience, and discipline(more so than most adults when I was only 12 TBH), basically everything narcissists can't stand partly because they wish THEY were true intellectuals and things like that instead of having to fool others into thinking they're 'smart'. I ended being the scapegoat/invisible child/truth teller because of it. I seldom spoke truth because of how abusive everyone could be, often punishing me for months on end for calmly speaking truth in the most respectful way possible. I would only do it when it was really necessary and important to me, partly because I knew it most likely would have no positive outcome and just cause problems, but if there was even a small chance I could successfully hold my dad for example accountable. The total lack of self-awareness and accountability was unreal. Like he asks me if I want to go fishing with an uncle, and I jokingly make a play on word choices or whatever and make it VERY clear with a smile, tone, ect I'm joking, and he acts like it's serious. Then 4 months later he asks me and is clearly still so mad about before not understanding even after saying SEVEN times I was joking, but he's so stubborn once he sees something a certain way, treating his assumptions like 'fact' because God forbid he ever realizes and admits he was wrong to see something a certain way. He's almost shaking, asks if I want to go fishing, doesn't even give me a chance to answer, and says if I don't want to go I can just go anyway. Then 7 months later after I totally stop joking with him, he asks me why I never joke with him and takes is so personally, omfg. I tell him EXACTLY why and he still doesn't get it. Meanwhile he tries to play his 'jokes' seriously, and I have a great sense for when someone is joking, but he knows I know he's joking, and keeps acting 'serious'. Then the instant I start to actually wonder is he actually serious, THEN he plays it off like I'm being ridiculous to think he wasn't joking. That or jokes at my expense and I don't necessarily take it personally, I just don't think it's funny, then my brother in particular LOVES making 'jokes' at other's expense, then gets upset when people don't think it's funny, even though he's the worst at taking jokes at his own expense and everyone knows it, and that's partly why it bugs people. He's so narcissistic he expects people to ignore that and let him make jokes at other's expense, AND act like he's soooo funny to top it off, and not ever give him shit back. I don't react at all and he tries to act like I'm 'being ridiculous', I can be the most nonreactive person and people will act as if that means I'm 'upset' or whatever when they're trying to bait me or get under my skin. That or it's ONLY because I know how extremely patient I can be with the bullshit, but they absolutely can't take the slightest negative criticism, I literally don't even have to actually say or do anything, just LOOK like I'm bothered by anything they say or do in life or like I'm losing my patience and it'll offend them. Or here's a good one, my dad will say about someone else "He thinks his shit don't stink!". He can be so pathetic when it comes to being a people pleaser and almost act like he's a 'victim' because of it, like when I knock on the bathroom door when he's mid-shit but I don't know it at the time. He instantly flushes, doesn't even wipe or wash his hands, just pulls his pants up but hasn't zipped yet, when I could just use the upstairs bathroom as his way of trying to be 'considerate', even though I'd rather he not do that partly because I'm left with a shit-smelling bathroom, and it makes it hard for me to respect him. I REALLY wanted a dad I could respect but he didn't realize how hard he made that, even with me saying exactly what he could do that would help, like not be so passive-aggressive and childish and act like I'm the problem when I refuse to respect that, and convinced everyone else I'm the problem and not him. I try to downplay my reaction to the smell of his shit, but not necessarily try to repress it totally and don't think too much about that. He sees me react just slightly, and gets OFFENDED by that. So I'm either supposed to totally repress the reaction altogether or pretend his shit smells good I guess, I can't even believe the irony when he says FIGURATIVELY that someone doesn't think their shit stinks, and then LITERALLY thinks his doesn't. Sorry I wasn't going to go on a rant quite that long, but sometimes I get carried away once I get started lol. Recently watching videos on narcissism by Dr. Ramani made me realize how rare of a person I actually am, a lot of adults even can't spot red flags and bullshit, it takes a gifted kid to see that, even when I was only 8 but 12 is when I was really starting to realize it could be a lifelong problem if I don't try my best to call people out and hopefully get people to see the problems I did, and things that needed to change, but I didn't realize how hopeless it was to hold on to false hope and optimism as long as I have.

@@brians1793 It's funny that so many feminists push for that but then when they find a submissive man they're completely unattracted to him because deep down that's not the type of man that women actually want.
@brians17933 жыл бұрын
@@elmateo77 Yeah, I'm realizing one of the hidden intentions of feminism is to disrupt human biology. That and body positivity is basically brain-washing women into committing self-harm, like 's*xual liberation' ruining pair-bonding for good, and self-improvement is basically 'self-hate' when it comes to being overweight. It's like telling a hard drug addict they should love themselves for being an addict and not do anything about it, or a smoker, it's ridiculous. Then even top 10% attractive men are shamed for refusing to date morbidly fat women, even when the women themselves openly admit they're not attracted to men their size and won't date them. When you're an older guy that still has a strong love of women, like a fatherly tough love of younger women in particular, it honestly hurts to see how much it's actually hurting women. I've been realizing smart phones and social media is like a Trojan horse families take in that is ruining them within. Especially since the pandemic, it's like the whole country has become a massive digital 'tribe', but humans have a hard time comprehending past 120-150 people as being humans. I'm realizing I was really born a high-value male when it comes to things like intelligence, traits, ect. I can't help but feel like I'm an older member of a tribe and our women are under attack and being turned against us. IDK if I mentioned this in my past comment, but feminism incentivizing women to phase out fathers besides also ruining men and making men less attractive in the first place, is like a less blatant way of enslaving men than killing their wife and kids. It's almost more evil, because when enslaving the masses it's more ideal to keep them alive and convince them it's to their benefit. Much like people were convinced their smart phones are benefiting them, when it's actually part of what's enslaving us.

I'm a 65-year-old man. I've observed a lot of women and a lot of relationships in my life. I've never personally known a woman who thinks this way. Not only do modern, strong, and independent not think like this, they are offended by these ideas. If a group of women knows a woman who feels this way, they will relentlessly use peer pressure to turn that traditional woman into a feminist.

Honour and respect are vital. Stop the constant, belittling and criticisms, especially in front of others or in public. An occasional sincere compliment will have an amazing effect on most men. Not an insincere throw away line but rather genuine praise. Most men never get praised and will almost certainly remember a real compliment forever. Being able to trust your partner. Knowing that what you do or say won’t be gossiped about to her friends and family. Your personal relationship is just that; personal.

It is a point that needs to be repeated, and contrary to the beliefs of many women: Good men are not afraid or shy regarding commitment, effort or personal sacrifice to a relationship. It is the lack of acknowledgement or support that kills us inside. A woman doesn't need to make herself a doormat or a full-time sex goddess (no reasonable guy ever asked for that).

Hello Rebecca, Your huge challenge is to actually get women to watch your videos (and similar ones). While there are only just over 50 comments on this particular video so far, the comments are pretty much exclusively from men. Women tend not to watch such content. Now, I think I understand why. I've learned that something like 82% of all retail spending is by women. Advertisers know this. Pay attention to mainstream media, including news, and you will see the programming is heavily slanted towards women. And as you can imagine, the advertisers do not want the programs they are funding to make women feel bad. (I'm thinking the last program that had some criticism of women was "Married With Children".) As such women are now not used to any kind of criticism at all. So now when they hear even valid criticism they instantly are offended and scream misogyny. Even KZbin will throttle back and even shut down channels that are too overtly critical of women. (You yourself will have to be careful on this last item.) I do wonder if you mix (which I think you already are) beauty technique/maintenance videos you'll draw a few women to your channel, but telling women what they should hear instead of feeding them all that independent empowerment crap will cause them to take a pass. Society lies to women and they love it. .....until they age out and then society treats men, they're now on their own.

I'm a woman who found her channel..but yeah, the YT algorithm knew I was the type of woman who would enjoy this content. Unfortunately reaching women who actually need to hear this message will indeed be an uphill battle.
@Snarge223 жыл бұрын
Hello@@riverdrop777, thanks for replying. I just get the feeling that besides Marketing/Advertising/Sales constantly telling women "You deserve this ......", the education system clear through college lies to women. That is they'll promote ever higher education (Masters degree? why of course!), not warn about going into student debt, just choose whatever makes you happy regardless of the chosen major's (lack of) future earnings. And not say a word about the very deep level of happiness women can have by making a husband and family a strong and serious consideration. Banks love this and encourage women to sign up for evermore student and credit card debt to promote a near lifetime of interest earnings. Governments absolutely love all this as hard working high earning women add to the tax receipts. I'm thinking this is not a path towards happiness. I think there are a lot of women in their mid 30's and on who have a deep disappointment in their lives and wondering how to change their direction. Lastly to the men; I have a view that society hates men. I won't go into it here, but at least men they know where they stand. It takes a very aware women to see through the lies society feeds them and realize too much of it is a load of manure.
@riverdrop7773 жыл бұрын
@@Snarge22 One of the main reasons they lie to women is to keep men out of the home. So many single mothers who 'don't need no man.' Even if they do get married, but one or the other decides to end it for whatever reason, it's always the guy who gets screwed over by the court. It breaks my heart every time I hear of a loving father delegated to every other weekend. I truly hate the lie in our society that women deserve the best, and if a woman thinks she could do better then not only is it acceptable for her to destroy her family, she actually SHOULD do it..for her happiness..self-care. 🙄 The world's lie about finding the 'perfect man'.. I don't see any perfection on my side of the fence, why are only men expected to be flawless within a relationship?
@Snarge223 жыл бұрын
Right@@riverdrop777! With no men in the home dependency on governments increase and politicians love that! Single mothers and children are much more mailable by governments than male heads of households who by their nature are quite naturally independent. The data is out regarding the disastrous results of children raised in single-mother households. And yet men from a moderately young age are dismissed and dumped on the trash heap of society with not a second thought. We hear about the wage gap but never the tax gap, about domestic violence against women but never men, about child abuse, but never the acknowledgement that women are the more common abusers, and when it comes to sentencing for crimes, men's punishments are on average something like three times more harsh. And I think of all those wars were young men are blasted to pieces for some leader's purpose. Young laborers, farmers, craftsmen, and shopkeepers sent to the front lines with no "choice" but to fight against others more like them than their leaders. And yet we hear that "men are the problem". I've even become aware that men rarely are complemented much less respected anymore. It is just "expected" and "required" of men. It's why I've come to the conclusion that society hates men. At least today's society does. (And it is why so many men are now refusing to participate.)

I want to add some color to the term "submit" the way RB is using the word (biblically) because it does get some backlash. Contextually, the idea is that we submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. In the original language "submit" is a military term, "to arrange ourselves under another" and indicates a "voluntary submission" and "NOT an unthinking obedience" as to say a "mutual submission" and does not denigrates the one who submits. The husband is commanded to love his forever boo thang! I mean wife ;-) He is to seek her highest good! BTW, I am just a dude who geeks out on bible and how we love one another.

Rightly said. May i add All 3 + 1 points are covered in tbe Bible. .Many christians dont read it so tbat they dont know how to navigate in life. Let me start with the plus 1 point of my own. Also if one follows the 4th commandment Honor your Father & mother (which comes soon after the first 3 which is about honoring God), a person automatically gains the training while single to honor a spouse's needs. Honor = Respect= Love= Sacrifice.. All this is reqd fir a healthy relationship to survive. 1. God made woman to be man's helper. ..in Genesis God said "it is not good for man to be alone. & i will make him a helpmate.". It is the wife's responsibility to help the husband become all that God wants him to be, in the same way that God helps us become who he wants us to be. 2. Sexual need: 1Corinthians 7:1-40 "Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. ..." 3. Women resoect your husbands "1Ephesians 5:22-23:": Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband has authority over his wife just as Christ has authority over the church; and Christ is himself the Saviour of the church, his body. And so wives must submit completely to their husbands just as the church submits itself to Christ. Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it. He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water, in order to present the church to himself in all its beauty - pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection. Men ought to love their wives just as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself. (People never hate their own bodies. Instead, they feed them and take care of them, just as Christ does the church; for we are members of his body.) As the scripture says, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and unite with his wife, and the two will become one.” There is a deep secret truth revealed in this scripture, which I understand as applying to Christ and the church. But it also applies to you: every husband must love his wife as himself, and every wife must respect her husband

The concept of women being submissive is only offensive to women who are in competition with their s/o. Unfortunately that's most women nowadays.
@Kissfan96dr3 жыл бұрын
more importantly, when a woman is submissive, the man and all he is and all he has, in turn, becomes totally hers. In other words, it's about investment and return.

What so many women don't understand is that "submitting" to a husband does not preclude them being a strong woman. In it's most basic form, the term just means that he's got a majority vote. Unless the man doesn't respect his woman, then she has the ability to influence things without turning into a bitch, and still be able to buck up and accept when he decides that "this is the way it needs to be". But if he doesn't respect her opinion at all, then it's just going to be a nightmare for her.

@Sarah Belkerson Grown adults such as the WW2 gen and before, call it "investment and return". Submission is the investment. Love, children, eternal life, protection, and good quality of life are the return. Interestingly enough I watched her video after about what women need from men. If the man doesn't step it up and lead, women don't feel secure so they will take control. Women would rather the man lead and have a vision. A lot of men seem to not have learned this before adulthood. Our society is fractured and we need to get back to these core values. I always thought I didn't want a man being the head but then when he was and it came from love I was happy in a way I didn't know possible. Men please don't let us down.

The biggest bit of advice for all people is that the other (in hetero relationships) does not want the same thing that you want in the relationship. That means you have to give them something THEY want instead. It goes both ways. The bad marriages are when one side ONLY gives the other want the former wants. Men and women are different.
