Totally not the point of this video, but Pau was traded to the Lakers in 2008. There is an error made in the 2:22 mark. 2004 was the year Malone and Payton were on the team. But yes Pau was a great teammate and a special player. It is awesome to see him supporting the Bryant family.

I thought the same, I found it surprising and somewhat strange that he did not speak in the memorial. They were more than friends and teammates, they were almost brothers. In Pau's documentary, they film 2 or 3 days after the accident and Pau was devastated, he couldn't stop crying in that part. It was a shock for everyone, but for someone as close to Kobe and his family as Pau, it had to be too hard.
