You are so clever!!! You would bust a gut if I told you what I have used for years and years for cord holders. Empty cardboard toilet paper rolls! My ex- in-laws used them and empty paper towel cardboard rolls for longer cords. Cost nothing and it's a great way to recycle! Maybe using them with some scrap fabric Mod Podge'd on the outside of them would make them sturdier and nicer to look at. As they are, rather tacky to look at but they work very well. Frankly, I like your idea for gift giving, making 3 different sizes in matching fabrics - sm, med, and lg. And yes, your coasters ARE darling! 🥰

Well, I thought I’d like the coasters best! But in the end, I really liked the cord wraps, and I’m thinking they might make great hair ties (I hvnt tried it yet!). But I hate the elastics bc they are either too loose and fall out, or are too tight and pull my hair and give me a headache. I wonder if they cd be modified for mask ties??? TFS 🌷

Totally might work over a rubber tie...not sure it would work alone though. Try and see. The floral wire is what I used in the nose for the mask to bend it ✅

Hey Tracy girl, I did send you an email but I’ll post it here as well. Are you using cotton thread for your cord keepers I don’t think cotton will be strong enough for the constant twisting. So I’m going to use polyester. And then of course I’ve made several changes lol like I always do but at least you got me started

@@TheSewingChannel OK thank you for responding. I would just like to add a suggestion for future videos, there are quite a few people who are not as experienced so I think mentioning what needle you use and what thread to use and also the stitch length would be extremely helpful I am using a stitch 2.0 with the polyester thread and I’m using a microtex needle but I don’t think I really needed it
