Naming the quilt: Around the Block. It's to beautiful for a cae quilt. I think using something other than the gauze for the binding would have solved the problem. Love this quilt and yet another great video. Thank you.

Love this and will try the glue stick as I really do not like the fumes from spray or the holes in my fingers from pins! How about Rainbow Roads for the quilt? Gauze is so stretchy, so I think maybe you pulled that section a little too tightly when sewing it. No one will ever know! I'm not sure how well it will hold up as a binding, however. Let us know.

Thanks for such a great tutorial. If you like double gauze cotton, there are lots of shops on line in Canada that have double gauze organic cotton for what is 10.50/yd USd and it is 52 inches wide. Of course there is a ton of shrinkage. They offer cheap shipping rates to the US if you spend over $100. Tariffs will destroy this next month, so I would grab alot now! There are several sellers, but Blackbird Fabrics in Vancouver, BC is one. I don't work there. It is where I get mine

Yes! I invested in this entire video! And even though I've been quilting for ## years, I learned some new things in addition to your amazing pattern. Thank you!❤

As a teen did you and your friends ever stop the car hop out and run around and get in the other door. We called it a Mexican fire drill. That's the name I suggest for your quilt if you can make not sound racist.😛

Went to our local JoAnn's today. They were open, nothing packed. Shelves still full. I asked the saleswoman if they were going to close and she said the workers haven't been told anything like that though they do know about the bankruptcy. She said the most helpful thing id to post that you don't want it to close on your social media. The more posts the better. Our Jo Anns is in northern CA.

If you use freezer paper for the 15" square template, you could iron it to the top fabric and there is no fear of it moving while you cut.

Love your channel! I've been glue stick basting for a few years, love it! One word of caution.....the Purple glue sticks do not always dry clear, sometimes, the purple can show through a lighter fabric when dry. I try to use WHITE glue sticks only unless I'm dealing with dark fabrics.

I love watching your videos. I've been making quilts for over 30 years and long arm quilting for 25 years. I enjoy your simplistic approach to teaching. As far as cutting fabric that I don't have a ruler big enough for I fold the fabric in half and cut it. Example a 15: block would be 7.5" cut with a folded piece. With paper you will inevitably slice off the edges over several cuts. Altering the uniform size of every block. Been there, done that.
