Yeah this makes sense in the story, that Reki felt like he was not as good and more of a person that cannot get better. Also him and Miya are the only one who are using they real names at S, which is kinda risky when you think about it. Reki has this nickname called "Mechanic star" but nobody uses it. And It might be connected to how much skate is a core part of they personalities. Miya is all known from begin a maybe soon junior champion of skating. So there's no point for him to hide his name sience so many people regionises this already. Besided he fells like nobody and hurt him in any way but emotional, he's just a kid. Reki probably just felt confident enough to use his real name.

First comment! I am so happy you went back to SK8 the infinity because I just discovered your video since I watched the video a while ago. Reki thinking that he's a "liability" makes so much sense in this seemingly happy beach episode. I am looking forward to more!

I don't think an episode in which Reki constantly injures himself with the hands of others under various pretexts (Mia who chased him with a ball, Joe who opened the door, Cherry who happily slapped Reki's fingers with a fan at lunch) and Langa constantly staring at him and grabbing Reki's waist during his “rescue” can be called happy. That's not to mention that Cherry is using two minors in his conflict with Adam and doesn't care how much they get hurt by it. Which eventually leads to several suicide attempts. And I'm afraid your comment wasn't the first, it's just that the author of the channel deleted mine.
